CCP Totally Failed it's Hsec players

What you want is irrelevant, resistance is futile !!!

Something familiar about that quote!

That’s what I said to that one miner.

That must be why the miners are now stockpiling their isk :upside_down_face:

Honestly I think we need to turn hs into islands minimizing highsec systems and leaving no direct hs routes between trade hubs. Fix or return war mechanics to what they used to be. And remove ganking to secure the smaller amount of hs systems.

Honestly I think we should remove mining.

This is the reason why I need to fight the Grýla, the Orgres aka Princess Aiko

@Mr_Epeen Grýla can detect miners who are misbehaving year-round. She comes from the mountains during Christmas time to search nearby towns for her meal. She leaves her cave, hunts miners, and carries them home in her giant sack. She devours miners as her favourite snack.

Aiko showed me her giant sack once. I told her she needs to wash it occasionally.

What we really need to do is restrict alphas to destroyers like the Infinity server and lock Safety to green for Omega players as well in hi sec.

Or create some space that is actually high sec. It can be in j-space so newbies would have to train skills for scanning or join a corp or community that provides locations for this promised land which is also a good candidate for the name and theme of a future expansion. Lets go

Filthy miners… aparrently they wash once a year , whether they need to or not.

No way. Mining is the backbone of EvE, THE most important career in the whole game. Without Mining there’s no EvE.
Besides… what am I supposed to do if not mine?

EVE would be just fine without mining. In fact, you can remove most if not all of EVE’s industry, and it would largely remain the same game at its core. On the other hand, if you removed combat (especially player combat, but to a lesser extent NPC combat as well), it would entirely collapse on itself despite being one of the most accurate capitalism sims in the world.

Have you tried blowing up spaceships in a game about blowing up spaceships?

Not quite true, Yuzima. NPCs could do all the mining. Ganking/robbing NPCs for their ore might even spice up the lives of weary Highsec Mission-Runners.

Gank the NPCs.

Haha, I beat you. I knew exactly what you were going to say!

Ja, a spaceships game without ships.

It wouldn’t. EvE doesn’t need combat. The PvE is more interesting than the PvP, and more viable as playthrough.

It isn’t an accurate capitalism sim. Not by a long shot.

Not really. I did blow up NPC ships but it’s boring and don’t want to fight against other players because the result would be a foregone conclusion of loss. I’d rather reprocess the ship than have someone blow me up in it.

If that were the case I would have no reason to log in.

That I agree with.
The drop rate and item quality of NPC wrecks are demoralizing. I don’t even bother with them, I evade until I find a belt without NPCs.

There’s no incentive to do that.

Oh I dunno, can you dance?

Yes, dance and sing. But that’s not going to help with mining. I’ve trained Venture to V, now I’m a real miner

You can give players ships.

You can’t give players engagement. It’s an abstract concept that you can’t spawn into their accounts. They have to go out into the game world and actually press buttons for stuff to happen.

They won’t give even a module or bpo, let alone whole ships.

No need to “go out there” for PvP, I can sell something on market for cheaper than the last guy and I would’ve participated in PvP.
