Chaos Era Continues - Cyno Update

It’s a shitty bandaid to a problem caused by the lack of conflict drivers

So you remove jump fatigue and replace it with this? Fatigue was arguably better than this idea … and that’s a truly awful statement.

That’s really funny coming from you

I wholeheartedly agree. Anybody who does not are really ■■■■■■■ dumb

When I have time to respond to something that is either an obvious troll or someone clearly having lost their mind, boy oh boy do I have words for this. Until then…

It is clearly obvious that this update is just one more attempt to kill off industrialists and make it near impossible to defend them.

Industrialists make up 50% of the playerbase, but we are treated more and more like 2nd class citizens.

Hello CCP,

I started playing EVE in 2015. Quickly, I joined a well-known nullsec alliance. At that time, there were no Excavators or Citadels. Players used Barges and Exhumers to mine, and we had one Rorqual for boosting. We dropped bubbles on gates, we had a scout, and a few battleships to defend our belt. At the end of the fleet, the income was divided between everyone. And we still won more ISK than if we went to mine alone.

When I took over EVE in late 2018, I was disappointed to see players with their 10 Rorquals, mining on their own moons 24/7, without ever meeting anyone… I preferred when the richs (Rorquals) needed the poors (barges) to earn money - Currently I have a Rorqual -. I preferred when collaboration and helping each other was the key to be rich (and powerful).

So, I’m happy to see this update. I hope it will force players to coorperate a bit more, like before. Maybe by downgrading their ships, and use cheapers/weakers ones ? Maybe by creating more fleets to use their expensives Rorquals. Let’s see what will happen.

It’s a great challenge for nullsec players, and I’m totally in ! Thanks

Adapt or die nullbears. If you dont like it then leave and make room for those of us with a spine.

cyno hunting will become much more a thing :frowning:

The Blocs will indeed be “flying safe”. You couldn’t have increased safety in numbers for the Blocs in a better way, this change is much safer for the Blocs. Congrats

“Era of Chaos” should be renamed “Era of the Bloc”.
Two pretty major changes in a month - Both of which help the Blocs maintain superiority in Nulsec.,.

I still say the Bar at CCP headquarters should not be open during work hours. Alcohol induced “stupid” could be the only answer to things like this.,.

Cowardly PVE players deserve to be treated like 2nd class citizens.

Try to stay classy. And while you’re at it, adapt or die.

Amazing job @CCP_Falcon! What a great change.

Keep this chaos rolling and I’ll never unsub (and please don’t remove the blackout!).

But rorqs are not isk faucets by any means, they only redistribute money. The only actual faucet is bounty, and a few percent go for stuff like insurance.
