Force Recons and Blops could definitely benefit from the more useful/dedicated role.
I’m torn on simple noobship cyno restriction though. On the one hand, I very much like the idea of forcing something to be invested. On the other hand as far as escalations and derpathons where 5 vs 5 turns into 5 vs 5+supers+fax … noobships aren’t the problem here, and if you’re using a noobship to bring in an escalation on purpose I like the risk of instant death from even a simple arty ship at 70k or a lucky smartbomb.
Simple removing of cyno from rorquals makes sense. Removing from ratting derpathon whores ratting in lowsec or null makes sense. You want to be able to fight back with your PVE carrier that is fine, keep the shizzle in system and warp like a normal human being - which will usually incur a good 2 minute delay instead of a 30 second login/undock/jump cycle.
Removing cyno from derpy t3cs makes sense, as the legitimate role of BLOPS hunter can be done by force recons better anyway. Derpy t3cs hunting and bringing along fax and supers while being clearly survivable long enough for the OP upship to occur has been cancerous for a decade now.
<3 CCP. All these noobs complaining about ruining their gameplay and forcing them to cancel their subscriptions probably haven’t paid you a dime in 3 years. Instead of paying for the server uptime they just waste electrons and ruin other people’s fun with OP heavy drops. If they tried to fight in a cruiser or below they’d probably quit too because they couldn’t figure out how the mechanics of anything other than cyno up and jump.
Perhaps the days of even matches and losses on both sides will happen again without artificially arranged fights.

How about we just create a new kind of cyno that ONLY allows SUBCAPS to be BRIDGED to it. We can still do save fleets. Cap blobbing is reduced. And as a bonus BS’s will get used more and Rorq/Super saves will turn into actual brawls rather than chase aways.

2011 was about the perceived pay to win schemes being unfair to standard guys that just wanted to fly spaceships for fun without investing cash. At any rate, if FrFrmPukin can’t manage to wrap his head around the idea of roles for ships and space variety maybe I can have his stuff.

Think about the poor nullseccers who just want to play eve for free though. They spend what, $150 or so to inject into a shitfit carrier and buy a thanny/nid with a t1 fit, add hypers and max dps and join horde or whomever else accepts anyone these days. They just want to rat for a week and then not have to worry about plexxing for the rest of the month. Now suddenly, they need to pay another $150 to inject a cyno alt + rat for 2 weeks to plex because nobody else is willing to cyno for them. Won’t someone think of the poor poor crabs who just want to omega for free

I personally think this is a good change, break up the meta. Supers and Titans can no longer rat without an alt with a cyno on standby which can be killed easily

This is another guy that doesn’t seem to understand his own argument.
This is pretty much exactly nerfing everything to avoid wildly unintended escalations from some ships that have no business fighting in the first place. One may argue the list itself, but what came out of this guys hands into the keyboard is just plain silly.
So many people are butt hurt about this haha. Honesty I think it’s great! Need a good shift in meta to change how the game is played. All y’all that are apparently unsubbing your accounts, you won’t be missed.

Hey CCP can I haz my money back for the 2 EVE Vegas tickets I bought? I would rather spend that on booze for my bros out there. I don’t need all the swag and I never attend anything except the opening ceremonies and the Saturday Night Party. The price of two tickets I bought would pay for a ■■■■ ton of more fun then hanging with you Hilmar, Greyscale and Fuzzynuts (Poside fans will get it) game ruining wannabees.
