@CCP_Rise
Cyno’s should still be allowed on HICs to catch supers/titans in lowsec
This is a good day. Thank you CCP!
You will lose my 3 paying toons. World of Tanks/Ships is free
Mmm, gold ammo sounds completely free.
Conspiracy Theory - CCP tanks income from EVE’s massive loss of subscriptions only to buy it back from PA at a heavily discounted rate.
This is very bad…UNLESS you make a 1 ship cyno for individuals who need to solo move capitals. Otherwise you just ■■■■■■ me and many people who may have to solo move capitals. Make a cyno module that lets 1 ship through then burns out so individuals can move their assets and caps to their new homes. IF YOU DONT then they cant move and therefore cant play the game…just saying
Lol what, just use a recon, you can still move stop being such a gigantic baby.
CCP can you stop being so cool? I cant stop to read all these tears. blackout, cynos… just… ohh you amazing. Best times in game last 10 years.
lol 2014 pilot calling BBTB ‘kid’.
I’d definitely be behind them removing supers and titans. I dunno if the game’s current structure would tolerate killing off JFs, though.
Removing carrier/dread jump drives wouldn’t suck, either. Still, I do think there’s a place for the hulls and fighters/Siege guns. Carriers as boosting flagships w/fighters for damage projection and dreads on structure bashes, for example. Just make 'em gate around like anyone else. There’d need to be a way to make sure fielding a fleet of carriers isn’t optimal, though. I still favor upkeep/maintenance costs for that, but there’s other options, too.
YOU ARE RETARDS TO DO THIS, ■■■■■■■ CCP
DELETE THIS
Well, the hits just keep on coming! CCP you need to keep doing this. You’re actually revitalizing the game. I’ve been having more fun playing in 2019 than the last 7-8 years or so combined. Keep it up!
So you want to pay 240 mil per jump? I love black out a lot but this really does ■■■■ over the individual unless we can have a 1 ship use cyno to move things like caps to new homes for players going to a new corp. This is a serious setback if something like this is not implemented with this update.
I am rich and I have 8 capitals…this would cost me like 10’s of billions to move things so no there cant just only be recons to move things.
Why are you assuming your recon will die with every jump? Are you incapable of using a cyno intelligently?
Ok, I’m scratching my head on this one. I always try to understand the reasons why actions take place, but this seems like instant gratification rather than long term resolutions. (Unless capital ships are on their way out) I do try to remember that the individuals making these decisions back their livelihoods with these decisions, so I don’t immediately disregard this without clarification.
I can afford to turn a 10m cyno ship into a 200m cyno ship and lose it repeatedly, but who is this helping? Its an isk faucet for sure, but is hurting the little guys even more. If a fax catches reps on my and keeps me alive, then money saved of course. But when you dont have a ton of fax support then…yea. It will be redundant to keep pushing that narrative, so I’ll just let the previous statements speak for that.
From my understanding, isn’t that one of the dangers of null sec. Command, conquer, and protect. Understanding that anyone at any time can come in and kick over your sandcastle. To form deals, relationships, and comradery with not only your own alliance, but with others for a common cause. And for the solo pvp’er or small groups going into enemy space, well; gonna suck for you. These empires have created a safety net to protect their group from invaders. So, working as intended? Plus I feel that people think that having an umbrella is impenetrable. They are not. Plenty of ships are lost, its just people also learn from their mistakes to be better. Let’s not also forget that these large groups with umbrellas were also on the deathbed in one way or another.
Now I have never lived in low sec, so I cannot speak on the life there. Only thing I can do is put myself if the position of the winning and losing side. It will suck to inspire your group to get in fleets, obtain a target, and get hype as you fight a glorious battle only to get ■■■■ on by supers. Whats a way to counter that? I have not idea. Because I am out of touch, I don’t have the right to speak on behalf of low sec bros.
I’m open to that, but is this the way to go? This seems to be another situation where a major change is affecting everyone, but affects people differently. Smaller groups that are trying to be better and stronger are at a GREAT disadvantage, while larger groups are less affected. This is once more making the small guy struggle more.
The jump freighter idea is actually a good one for 2 reasons. 1) Less cyno fuel to chain jump JF, 2) Versability, and 3) 1 specific ship class is heavily affected. Its an intellectual step in the right direction and feels like alot of thought was placed into this by weighing the negatives and positives.
THis is already long as hell now, so I need to wrap up. I’m all about changes, but not at the cost of a waste. I started as an indy player, moved on to large scale pvp, and solo sometimes when I feel like gaining experience. Does that make me trash, I dunno maybe. But I know I pay monthly to live that lifestyle. If i wanted to live a different life, I know there is a space for me to move to. Although I’m not the percent of small gang or solo play, it is however affecting my game play to the point of irrelevance, and well hurting the long term of others that are less fortunate as well. If subcapital ships are the way to go and capital ships are the devil, then just rip the bandage off. Demand martial law and create a new world order if you feel that is necessary. But understand that people also still want people to play. Alot of the exposure that puts EVE on gaming articles outside fo EVE are being chipped bit by bit. The balance is being broken, and is causing people to become more reserved than reckless. And if I am incorrect, please correct me.
I am rich and I have 8 capitals…this would cost me like 10’s of billions to move things so no there cant just only be recons to move things.
Bad news champ…
So what you are saying is you can’t just throw away ships anymore but have to think about what you are doing?
Have to use the brain you have for other than just pressing F1?
Also remember its not stuck for 10 min but only 5 min + use alot less ozone
and if your moving capitals then you most likely do it with a fleet which means it won’t cost ya a dime and if you want to move them solo yeah then there is a risk like everything else in eve…
This together with blackout is the best things that happened since CCP gave goons the power over the game back in 2010
Great way to completely ruin 0.0 space CCP. I’ll be watching CCPs fall to bankruptcy from my 2nd monitor while playing WoW classic, Ciao
People never went for cynos because they were cheap corvettes that dont give a killmark…Recons are DEFINITELY worth stopping to kill and DEFINITELY good on a killboard. Nice try on that poor argument.
Don’t be silly, nobody keeps their cyno on F1. That’s the cloak. Cyno’s on F4 or F8.
Sure, they’re worth a killmark. But why are you assuming they’ll be successful? Are you incapable of using your 8 capitals to defend a cyno? Or docking up your capitals and getting a few cheap logi frigs out to keep the cyno alive for a few minutes?
