Evening Capsuleers,
I do ask you to excuse the rather plain letter format this is in but feel for myself it is a much more comfortable form of communicating than a huge marketing outline. I come to you with the hope of being nominated for CSM 20 for this year and to represent the desires and needs for change within our community and the game itself. I wish to speak on the side of the single pilot among the sea of many and to assist with ideas from the position of an everyday pilot with limited time and hoping to maximize my fun per hour while I have the time to play. I may be part of what many may call a large alliance in a position of comfort among other friendly alliances and adding some sprinkles on top of an otherwise glazed donut. However, I must point out that most of my career within eve has been small corporations, alliance, and or the solo life on occasion.
So, to the main few questions and the first among them being what have I achieved with in the community that may win your vote? To this I say NOTHING, I am a normal everyday pilot with no connections with CCP and no huge connections with streamers or alliance leaders. I have not been a CSM before nor hand any major input in any of the changes of the past. So, why should you even bother looking my way? For those exact same reason, I just pointed out. I have no past agenda to certify no promises that need to be kept in any regards and on top of all that am a total wild card as far as CCP is concerned. I play the game for probably the same reasons many others do, internet spaceships and to have people to blow things up with and or to mine and fill local with general trash.
What will I hope to change and or accomplish while I am a CSM? Well, that is a huge and very great question. Coming in late to this submission I may have to be brief but will gladly expand more if anyone wishes to ask.
-
1. Quality of life updates to missions – They have become very stagnant as of late
-
2. Addressing to state of high sec – From trade hubs to Pirate activity some moderation is needed
-
3. Showing continued love to ships and modules – I feel there is still room for ships and modules to have new life breathed back into them
-
4. More focus on single pilot / small gang activities – I fly a good amount by myself and have noticed many changes have not impacted or assisted in the small play style at all.
-
5. Further work on corporation and alliance recruitment – I feel as if we made a good start but can do more on making corporations readily visible to new players.
-
6. Further work on new player experience – As it stands a new player is dropped rather quick after the beginning walkthrough. I feel more can be achieved with that.
In closing I know this was a very brief and only a small representation of what I would hope to achieve as CSM and as a representative for you the pilots of Eve. I am available for any questions you may have or if you wish for me to expand further on the mentioned items or about other ideas or aspects of eve.
