This! So much this! I’d consider taking on the risk of destroying and building customs facilities of my own but who in high sec can take on a monopolies that can just sit back and extort billions/day?
With the new T2 BPs, T2 ship and module building is feeling the pain. It makes new players feel like EVE overall is a waste of time. Fixing the capacity issues related to PI is a good move and appreciated but these extortionist PI taxes by a couple monopolies make PI in high sec pointless.
Currently in High Sec, when PI production time is figured in, it’s more cost effective to risk the cost of an Obelisk to get PI materials on the market than to pay the taxes and chew real time gathering PI.
Unless the thought is to effectively give High Sec a T1 ship & component cap. In which case, well played CCP.
Totally agree that there are 3 or 4 big alliances in HS that control the Custom Offices
Taxes are way to high to justify PI in HS, so I just have not done my PI in over 6 months
It aint worth it any more yup
Also a big reaon why nobody does pi. High sec not worth it you have to pay mafia lvls of taxes on most custom offices as they are controled by like 2 or 3 entties all over high sec.
skill queue (fixed random allocation) for importing…well, assuming TQ gets importing. =(
fyi, i didn’t add the abyssal because apparently that’s “must purchase from market” skill…whisper but don’t worry cuz spodumain crystals are in with complex. ikr? so not confusing at all since now it’s blue triangle exclusive.
Assuming it works… I’m currently on Singularity, having a missiong for Green Arisite (Gneiss). And with Modulate Strip Miner II equiped with Variegated Asteroid Mining Crystal Type A I… and I can’t use the strip miners…
“[…] Variegated Asteroid Mining Crystal Type A I is not calibrated to mine Green Arisite”
First time using crystals, I’ll admit, so could be a Code 18 case.
I don’t use T2 strip miner on TQ, so I don’t know.
Edit: though, current mining mission guides suggest to use the appropriate crystals, so I assume it does.
Before the changes to barges go live, is it really intentional that the Procurer takes over 20 seconds to align
while the Covetor can do it in less than 10?
Or should I send in a quick bug report to get that fixed before release tomorrow? Something seems seriously messed up with the masses + agilities of the barges. Why are the high yield barge and exhumer now twice as agile as the combat-oriented barge and exhumer? Previously they were the slow ones, but had superior yield to make up for it. They still have that yield, but now get additional EHP, and agility too?
