50% loot chance doesn’t discourage the players in Jita and Uedama who are blowing up ‘mobile loot containers’ … every day. As usual, the rich (who support that playstyle) will get richer.

Imagine that trader don’t mean hauler. I can trade billions from region to region and fly only my shuttle. I actually do that from time to time.
There’s more than one way to skin a minmatar slave… or haul stuff around (without getting ganked). 
Call it as you want, players won’t undock.

Judging from past events, the first 24 hrs usually has 100% loot drop, then CCP nerfs it back too much and then at the end of the event they finally get it right.
We are not talking about PvE but PvP. Shoot a freighter in Perimeter get 100% of the contents. Awesome!

This, I suspect the pipes to Jita (and Jita itself) are going to have an increase in ganking. Possibly a Burn Jita happening?

@Tipa_Riot I will probably attend in Jita and along the pipes on my alt, will steal some juicy loot and/or tackle and if can outright kill some thieves in your honor if I have the opportunity.
@Chan_aar Yup but more than that, gankers see a blinged out mission runner they can gank it for full profits now with greater numbers as before as they can 100% accurately calculate how much they can get and it is guaranteed not just a chance and in general can bring much more force than usually, same for miners now more ISK efficient to gank miners and can bring 50% more ganking ships on average and in general now can gank with greater force due to the assured drop and so on.
Also you see people fighting somewhere? Follow them around, when one pops you can grab the loot and stay for pew pew or warp to safety. This greatly encourages ganking, thievery and PvP in general.
This is Burn New Eden and will be great.

EVE need more content,yet CCP went ape ■■■■ with useless skins and garbage events.They dont touch anoms nor citadels…enjoy farmville online

Obviously Hilmar really wants that bonus pay from PA.
By making whole bunch of PvE players much juicier targets for gankers? Questionable way to boost login numbers I think.

Yeah, I never said CCP was smart. Due to the constant drop of log-in numbers, I wouldn’t be surprised if the majority of the player base that’s left is mainly ‘PvP Gankers’.
If CCP wanted to really make it a ‘Trick Or Treat’ event, they would have made it a 50/50 chance to get either 100% or 0% loot drop.
