CSM 15 UAxDEATH

If you’re unhappy why don’t you run for election?

I think it’s fair to say that you’re itching for a fight or the opportunity to air your grievances in a public forum.

You could make excuses such as:

‘What would be the point?’

‘Nobody would vote for me.’

‘Waste of time’

‘No real power’

or; ‘Impossible, the system is rigged/corrupt’

But these are really lazy and cowardly excuses because if you think about it and if you’re correct in your assumptions and accusations then your candidacy has a legitimate chance of success and at that point the only real barrier is work and your determination to see it through- the only question of merit then remains, 'How important are these issues to you really?

You’ve outlined what you consider to be the genuine issues in-game and either that is true and other players share your concerns and wish to empower somebody like you to represent them -which is work, agreed. Or, few people support your concerns in which case these issues are being ignored because they’re not real or they impact on such a small minority of players that they’re eclipsed by much greater more pressing concerns.

Now as as far as power is concerned, either the CSM matters in which case your candidacy could potentially make a difference or they have no real power in which case your accusations are baseless and therefor of no importance whatsoever.

So, what’s it going to be? Aggressively agitate, defame, and denounce candidates in the forums to no real effect or balls up, put your money where your mouth is form a campaign and do something about it?
