Or military leaders? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

That would make all voters Sane xD

Noone needs my support not even her majesty or other safety officers to that matter because even though frostpacker was found guilty and convicted of criminal behaviour of high sec crimes like refusing to pay rent.

Forever hiding in fear as frostpacker is also lost, gagged and all alone in some dark space.

You are not guilty of anything other than being a free thinker.

I do not believe this for a moment either. Determined players like ourselves survive when it’s worth the challange.

Like indirectly being involved opposed to directly being involved.

Simular to voting for a CSM candidate where submitting a vote could be seen as directly being involved in the outcome. Not voting yet accepting the outcome might be indirectly connected with the outcome perhaps?

I’m clenching on straws again with my unusual method of communication.

Thats what I enjoy about you.

I’m all alphas now so I don’t get to vote.

I’m just curious if you knew but there are about 7800 system’s, eve is massive. I think a 3rd of them are wh’s

Yes I do. 7800 systems isn’t massive at all. 7800 constellations maybe.
The universe rendering in Elite, that’s what I call massive. New Eden has to be the smallest galaxy that ever existed.

New Eden isn’t a galaxy, it’s a star cluster within a galaxy.

Sure, you could add more stars to it to make your game ‘better’ (because more stars = better, according to you?), but there needs to be a balance between more space and player density. EVE is an MMO and relies heavily on player interaction; if new Eden were 100 times bigger it would get boring really fast in the majority of the outer regions. More stars in this case means worse gameplay. I never played Elite, how is the player interaction there?

How convenient for laziness. And I suppose that cluster is in an unnamed galaxy, of course.

I wasn’t arguing on your strawman, this is what I was arguing with @ResonanceOfWar and were engaged in a civil discussion about it so before jumping into a convo you may want to understand the points exechanged between the original interlocutors before wading in and trying to insunuate things that don’t exist.

You mean there would be less destruction hence less ships sold → less isk movement → less players needing isk → less PLEX sold.

That doesn’t seem to be a problem with Elite, which, I will have you know, is also an MMO.

Again, doesnt seem to be a problem with Elite.

About the same as in EVE. There are sweet persons and total douchebags.

outside the “jitas” pretty much non-existent. It’s also not really an MMO in the first place, it’s a single player game with multiplayer options and has peer to peer multiplayer with all issues that stem from that. What is nice that you can choose how much, if at all, you want to be in multiplayer mode: you can choose single player so you never see other players, MP with friends or you can choose open play.

Elite is more of an actual spaceship sim and also a space sim, it’s great if you’re an astronomy nerd or just want to get the feeling of being in space in the middle of ffing nowhere, flying around exploring systems and planets. No game is like it in that respect, in other ways it’s severely limited.

If you’ve never tried it I would suggest to get it, the base game is on sale very often and you don’t even need/want the expansion so it’s all you need.

Thanks, might give it a try sometimes!

Yea for sure its tiny in rl comparison but it is alright the way it is in my opinion.
One of the problems about the landscape is that it is very much the same everywhere which CCP did say in their presentation which I was very happy about.

If they see it as a problem then we might start seeing some interesting system mechanics that start separating space so that certain area’s are made more desirable so that people looking to bump into more people get that opportunity and those that want peace can move away from those areas to get more alone time.

R64 moons and tech was such a thing a few years ago that was a great conflict driver, the current moon mining is nice (on a capsuleer lvl, before it was better for alliances) but maybe other type’s of things can become conflict drives will have to wait and see I guess. I have high hopes for the new system buff’s that they are trying out.

If they link system buffs + sov upgrade mechanic’s imagine how alliances can customize their space to their favourate doctrine’s, every enemy you fight will alter the way you perceive battle it sounds amazing imo.

Imagine goons getting tired of munnin meta and then deside ok you can bring your muninn’s but we are investing in a system upgrade that increases all ship’s in space by 50% sig rad and then swap to something like cruise ravens with a few golems using target painters to up the sig’s further.

And different type of natural buffs for high/low, npc null and fw low space all having a custom flavour in different area’s.

That’s the kind of variety that can refresh stale play into something interesting. There are a lot good ideas from the community. I hope CSM can bring a few to the forefront.

I haven’t gone far in exploring NPC’s besides the one pirate kind in my neighborhood but I was hoping to see what sets them all apart besides the type of ship and ammo.

Tbh I think CCP is already on this type of thing hence why they are testing it out with events and stuff but yea the community has some great ideas.

I had checked just today about some of the limitations and had found that a alpha can use t2 blasters with 1100Alpha Strike DMG Which is enough I reckon.

“certain area’s are made more desirable so that people looking to bump into more people get that opportunity and those that want peace can move away from those areas to get more alone time.”

So how come Jita get’s all the Love ???

Amarr is now as dead as Dixie was 2 years ago.

I’ll be honest - it was far more fun when you could actually fly thru Niarja (both for the gankers and the haulers).

Enough Said.

It was a mix between filament’s allowing people to just sit at jita and get content within 2 minutes.

And the loss of Niarja which closed off a direct route from Jita to amarr which you just mentioned xD

I wish CCP does something to split up the empires more I would love to see all 4 factions having their own market hub’s and some low and null ones too, but until there is a extra bonus to people trading and manufacturing in other hub’s that won’t happen, also if CCP nerf’s jita region instead of buffing others people will be super pissed xD

I’m sure traders would have a lot more fun having to monitor multiple markets and move goods between them, which balances them for the rest of us.

So I would suggest CCP lower Sales tax’s and manufacturing costs for Dodixie, Ren’s, Hek, Amarr, and lowering it a lot further for 0.4 low sec systems 1 jump from high sec (The faction warfare bonus doesn’t seem enough) and maybe remove it all together in null and just have broker fee’s.
