CSM Vote Result confusion

Some lack the knowledge, some lack the decency, others are just sock puppets.

/eyeroll

Brisc, I am already impressed with your willingness to deal with the army of trolls on the forums. I wrote something to Gobbins on these forums and he basically just told me to get bent.

Part of my day job, part of my EVE job. /sigh

when candidates run with the mandate of abolishing this farce of a system it will be good enough for all.

No disrespect intended to any individual intended.

Well yeah thats what I was seeing if he was happy with.

That the more money you have the more votes you can cast.

No candidate who runs on that platform is going to be qualified by CCP to run. This is a request every year, it gets knocked down every year. CCP wants the CSM, doesn’t matter if some players don’t.

how…non democratic.

The only place where running to disband the group works is in high school.

To destroy system you have to be against it.
To be in the system is to be against its destruction.

CCP isn’t going to care if one candidate runs on a “disband the CSM” campaign. “Let the kids have their fun.”

There used to be a “none of the above” or “abtain” vote on the CSM ballots. They took it off for a reason.

I’m watching a documentary on HBO called Independence (not the one with aliens and spaceships, but that one is good too). Maybe you should check it out before you spew such conformist nonsense.

I’ll take my 20 years in politics over your watching an HBO documentary, kthx.

Politics? In America?

All the civilized countries see when they look at politicians in the U.S. is people willing to sell themselves to the highest bidder.

Ahh, bigotry. How refreshing.

That’s politics the world over, the US is just crap at hiding it.

The last honest man in politics was Guy Fawkes.

I wouldn’t call it bigotry, it’s a common viewpoint outside of the US; there’s an old saying that the US has the best government that money can buy.

The US doesn’t hide it at all - in other countries it is called “corruption” and people go to prison for it. In the US it is called “lobbying” and it is considered completely fine, so long as you have all the necessary paperwork.

Me vocalizing disgust of fat people is bigotry.

Pointing out corruption in the U.S. political system is simply stating the obvious.
