I do more pve than pvp, because of language limitations(my spoken english is even worse) but i hunt if my friends are online, so i have experience on both sides, unlike you.

Yes, its clear that you are not set to PvE in a delayed Local environment.
Instead of blaming yourself for being bad, you accuse hunters of being bad.
With sufficient precautions, you will be fine, if you avail yourself to them.

Neither of which has impact on delayed Local, which applies only to intel and requires both to actively get intel instead of getting it instantly and without effort, until the delay expires.

I’ve already said it’s impossible if the PvE’er doesn’t make mistakes and flies a suitable ship and I already told you that I believe that is how it’s supposed to be. Aslong as we disagree on that, there really is no much further arquing about your suggestion (not with me at least).

It’s nice that we figured this is the core difference between our two positions, but neither side will convince the other side.

The morale is that you are still asking for an easier time as a hunter (and it’s fine if that’s your position) while I don’t see that being necessary. You have the option to force PvP on others, but for that, you have to overcome the effort that was put into securing the space (i.e. too much for the solo PvP’er).

I think that’s fine too. Working as intended in my books.

PS: I am in total agreement with the notion that Local provides Intel too easily, but any resolution to that needs to prevent extreme cases (which make escaping impossible). There always needs to be an option to escape (and it’s ok if it involves more effort), but being absolutely defenseless even IF you do everything properly should not become a thing. Ever.

If a resolution on localintel has been found, we might need to look at a significant rebalancing for risk/reward, but that’s okey too.

That’s exactly what delayed Local intel would do.
On both the part of locals and aggressors.

Intel would be player sourced, by active involvement, not instant via Local intel as is the case now,
