It’s cute that every time I disagree with you, I’m “lying.”
I’m not lying. I simply don’t buy your argument and I don’t find it compelling.
I don’t know who “you” here is because I don’t live in Delve and neither does my corp or my alliance.

I don’t believe that for a second.
It just makes more of pain in the ass to sit there and babysit.
Of course. Entosis defense. So that entosis FAX and Entosis Prophecies on FAX can be even less bothered. Now I see where you are coming from. The losses in the DO6 and DW ihub timers were too much. Thank you for that insight.
You do not find anything compelling that goes against “your opinion”.
Well, thank you for your efforts. I do appreciate that WH space is very different from the rest of the game, and that you all have a difficult and often thankless job.
But the effect of this change on a procedure that most W-space corps do multiple times a day or even an hour, and the callous-seeming brushing-off in the patch notes of “yet another piece of collateral damage to wormholers, LOL”… I hope you can begin to appreciate how much that feels like a smack in the face.
You are evading the point. If claws and entosis was the issue, why not addressing this specifically?
I thought claw role in entosis was adressed when they reduced 25% their alpha, and made entosis ships able to catch reps.
I know it’s hard to believe, but I’m not going to be advocating anything that is designed to make ratting easier. It’s already too easy. This isn’t about ratting.
I will reply directly, since my earlier post is likely to get lost in the shuffle.
Is there a fundamental difference, in regards to solving the problem that is being addressed, between removing interdiction immunity outright from Combat Interceptors (as presented in the dev blog), and supressing said immunity any time there is an active weapons timer?
You keep advocating for Claws to be neutered.
And by the way: Yesterday I evaded a bubble camp with my bomber. I clearly made it too hard for the bubble campers to catch me because I could cloak mwd. Do you think this is too hard and not easy to counter as well? If so, that should be nerfed next.
I cannot be alone in possessing a large number of ‘taxi’ interceptors. Unfortunately my interceptor of choice was the Claw…
Would it be possible, like the fax/ carrier conversion, to chose what version you wanted on patch day. Perhaps by renaming the ship “Taxi” a Claw would be converted to the fleet equivalent, Stiletto.
Sad to say, @Brisc_Rubal, but it doesn’t. You put cloaky eyes on a perch above their in-gate, keep the titans cloaked as well, and just wait and watch. Gennel could teach a master-class on it if he was so inclined. All it takes is patience and a pipe.
Besides, we’re just gonna use twice as many fleet interceptors… especially since—given the changes to AFs—they have no actual purpose in a fleet anymore, except for a lone scout or two.
We have no idea what the fax nerf will be, or even if there will be one, so we can’t say if it’s good or not. A bad nerf is a bad nerf, no matter how small it is.
The interceptor changes will actually change nothing. People will just shift to the ‘fleet’ hulls. They won’t have as much volley, but they’ll otherwise be fine. Roaming gangs will still kill people who aren’t paying attention, and still die to BFG-traps.
The HIC changes will affect one niche build, while completely screwing over wormholes. What’s more, the fact that this will screw wormholers has been known for the entire year+ this change has been on CCP’s radar. There’s no excuse for not having the mass manipulation module (high slot, fits in place of the bubble generator. Can’t fit both types of modules. There, it’s done, holy crap) ready to roll out at the same time (pun intended).
The extrea medium slot on the Damavik will not increase its uptake. The Entropic Disintegrator’s not suited for frigate-scale combat, and against larger targets, groups would already have had the opportunity to bring a mix of ships to allow for Damavik damage output and whatever utility mids CCP thinks will be slapped onto these things. It’s an interesting idea, but the whole ‘uniform bonuses across three hull sizes’ thing means that at one end or the other, the ship’s bonuses will not fit with how that hull size is used.
A-men.
They have. They’ve removed nullification from Claws and the other combat ceptors so they have to be combat ceptors. Not sure what is so hard to understand about that. Instead ‘but ratters!!’ and all that…
You aren’t going to kill an entosis FAX with a claw fleet. That’s not the point. It’s about frustrating gameplay that people hate and don’t want to engage in. Nullification simply adds to frustration with a mechanic that’s difficult to counter unless you are specifically waiting for it.
I’m not going to find any argument compelling that starts with “you’re lying” and then starts moving goalposts, no.
Sorry for this but what’s a Demavik?
This will be a nice change for PVE, it is always so annoying when guristas landed a jam and would just have to wait it out.
You misspelling the Triglavian Frigate’s name?
I do not find that gameplay frustrating at all. I have had a number of very nice experiences with Claws in a number of different scenarios. You find it frustrating. Incompetent people find it frustrating. Do you want to know what I find frustrating? Boson titans on gates blapping an entire fleet out of existence.
In my opinion the claw changes are absolute trivial. Eve players will adapt, as always. There are still the non combat ceptors with nullification…so just mass them an it will have the same impact.
I as a wormholer am truly sad about the removal of our mass control because the way to adapt will a ton of alpha accounts in sigils so it doesnt matter you will roll them out. A bigger problem will be to keep the holes actually verge, but we will find a way for that aswell.
The sad things is just that none of the things above is part of the promised “fun and engaging gameplay”. We will adapt, shed a tear and go on as always, but the pile of bad decisions made in the past is growing bigger and bigger. (Tracking Supers and Titans, Rorquals, Entosis Mechanics, dying FW space…i could go on forever).
Where is the point where ccp is actually coming back close to the player base and listens?
