why are you putting a burst on a rook it gets no bonus and you break your won lock

so youve done a few huh… so youll know that you land close to each other, most blops bs are fitted for gank and only have an mjd and that you have to bridge a falcon… ok so you can bridge the falcon in… it lands at 0m with no tank… ok so you bridge your lokis in to rep the falcon… but now they cant lock because someone just used an ecm burst… and the target ship also got away cus inititial tackle lost lock too…
like i said before though tbh…
your wrong, accept it and move on
Falcon have weaker shield , use a turrets and lower bonus to armament . Finally Rook cannot be detected by directional scanners.
Don’t compare cruisers to battle ship Widow vs Rook - no sense.

lol I could say the same about you. considering pleanty of falcons are used and survive their drops its not nearly as omfg wtf do we do guys the falcon landed at 0 and died. are you dropping with people that have never left the station before?
it is beyond easy to burn out of the burst range in under 10 seconds the widow has more than enough staying power to keep the target tacked even if some how all of your other pilots flew into your burst range. not even sure why you are dropping with additional BBs considering how much more effective T3s are.
with the burst + arazus you can keep just about any ship in a 60km sphere locked down. with an ECM widow your lucky when you consistently have more than 3 and ■■■■■■ if all your jams fail. the burst is also great if things go bad as the only ships that can reliably keep your fleet pointed are keres and arazu anything is will almost certainly lose lock if it is not seboed. remember you have 30 points of jam most ships at max skills are hard pressed to get above that
or is it that you and your fleet can’t handle mods that aren’t simple lock and shoot?
my favorite counter claim of yours is
not like you aren’t bridging the rest of the fleet unless you are just after the swag of a full BB drop and in that case I could sort of see using ECM on the widow but this is such a limited way to drop.

ummm your post made no sense to the one you replied to. I was asking why you were fitting a battleship mod on a cruiser said nothing about a falcon or a widow and pointed out that the rook gets no bonus to the ecm burst
the rest of the fleet aren’t BS but you know that and are now just trying to find ways you can avoid it
considering the rest of that sentence adds more context as I said
if your not dropping full bs then your bridging either bombers, stratios or more often than not loki’s, at which point widow or falcon doesnt really add much to the gang if anything.
falcon adds a whole lot… or it used to.
and yeah 99.99% of our drops are solid loki drops only time we drop a widow + fleet is if we have almost no one on to drop. solid BB gangs are just as inefficient when you could be dropping lokis or 1k dps legions

at least with you I can recognize its mostly a major style difference in our drops but did I just get told I have no experience bu the guy fitting Bursts to a rook?

I dont think anyone said anything about actually fitting and ecm burst to a rook.
I asked for fit because i thought i was missing something… im not; its a shield legion… which would explain the high dps.
loading pyfa want to look at tank 
on initial inspection ship doesnt do 1k dps…
further inspection reveals pyfa is rather ■■■■ and doesnt have those damage mods… maybe i need to update…
nope it does have them its just jerking me around…

because the silly idea you were talking about was fitting them to the widow
yeah its a pure gank legion so far it has held well enough under reps
still more tank than the average falcon widow about the same tank if you don’t count damage reduction 
average widow is plated and rolls with redeemers but not often used as blasting the ■■■■ out of the target tends to work better than jamming it; jamming fighters would be useful but after patch you might aswell just jam the widow into the reprocessing array…
tbh there isnt an average widow, i really havent seen many used; sometimes people have taken them simply because they have one, they want to and theres enough dps with the gang already.
Which, tbvh, just goes to show how underpowered and over rated ecm really is.
hmm I normally only see single plate widows but hey one thing i’m sure we can both agree on is that Sol Erdans fit is definitely not how you fit a widow (pretty sure we still are not supposed to link KMs on the forums)
hmm even duel plated its not much more tank than the legion since pure BB drop doesn’t have links
