Dev Blog: October Balance Pass!

I haven’t actually done a pure BB drop since I first started BLOPS even then I only did it a few times I kinda want to see if I can get my current corp to do one with me now

since the t3 chage its literally just for prestige

EVERYONE is using loki’s, some use legions, even fewer use tengu’s… proteus has been relegated to hunter only…

but thats not mentioned here… apparently theres no issue…

yeah : / I remember when one of the goals was to nerf the covert T3 set ups… some how they thought reducing their buffer but removing the DPS restriction would some how solve that

I mean tengue is worming on the ground with its arms and legs cut off and the prot died and was tossed into a compactor but the other two

Could make ECM illegal, that is what happens in the real world when a weapon is getting in the way of fighting

O7
I flew sometimes in fleet as logi-pilot, mostly Scimitr for shield, or Oneiros (Armor).
Both I in micro/smal WH-gangs.
ECM was never an issue for me.
T2 SeBo + ECCM-Scrips brings me a sensorstrngth about 37 (cold) with the Scimi, and 47(Hot) with the Oneiros.
My nemessis is called sensor damper, or the neuting Baalgorn.

After that “UpDate” any Falcon / Rook is just victim.
Just a pity about my perfect e-war skills.
Now they are waste of (IG-)time.

But anyway, I await still the answer to the primary question of

Brock Khans

@CCP_Falcon Does the jamming changes apply to upwell structures? It seems to defeat the purpose of jamming a DPS ship from attacking your structure, if they can still target it.

Generally when that happens, it means something is out of whack.

Then you’re not using pings or not putting your hardeners on when you see two ships on dscan, as you approach the gate. That’s you being bad. The reality is that if you play smart, you’re unlikely to die in an interceptor when you’re traveling, and that’s literally the only time an opponent will have a chance to kill you when you aren’t actively trying to engage/tackle.

I think it should be dangerous for both sides. Right now, it’s not.

No, I think it’s easy to get caught up an interceptor fleet if you’re flying around and don’t know they’re there or you are trying to respond to chase them and get caught. The point is that interceptors can pick their battles and extract at will if they choose not to fight, and there’s nothing that’s even remotely close to being reliably effective at forcing a fight.

That’s the biggest issue. They can pick their fights at will, and there’s very little that is reliably effective at stopping it. That removes the risk, and that’s a bad thing.

Exactly that is the purpose of this change, removes even further the (minimal) risk for the gazillion of ratters and botters from Delve…
Also good job at promoting your null sec block sole interests, and making ISK farming as safer is possible for your damn blob.

No, it’s not. The purpose of the change is to make it more risky for combat interceptors. This change won’t have an ounce of impact on the safety of null, because folks are going to switch to the nullified fleet interceptors and they’ll still go harassing AFK VNIs in Delve.

Interceptors aren’t making even a slight dent in ISK farming safety, so the idea that I’m trying to protect it is idiotic. That’s not what I’m doing. I have no desire to protect isk farming and I’m on record as arguing it needs to be nerfed.

Stop with the “null-sec blob” horseshit.

Yes, it’s sole purpose is to make null safer for you; repeating same crap again and again for thousands of time will not make it true.
I see that you made a full job from filling this thread with your crappy lobby for this retarded changes… You don’t have any real life, a job, something to make you lose focus from promoting goons and their pets interests here?

No, it’s sole purpose is not to make null safer; repeating the same crap again and again in broken English will not make it true.

Everybody knows what I do for a living. If you don’t, lol.

You have a lot of free time i see, must be a dream job…
We can use my native language if you are some kind of grammar nazi, but i bet you will not manage to communicate any useful ideas this way.
You are the best proof that CSM must cease to exist ASAP, zero objectivity, totally biased and resort on personal attacks when someone try to stop your posting diarrhea… lol.

Whilst I completely disagree with Brisc on these changes, I would say stick to attacking the content of his posts, not the poster himself. Otherwise the content of your post is lost in the personal attack.

yeah it’s not a about making null safer its about forcing the minimum requirement for a cepter fleet to go up by requiring the weaker cepters

this way we don’t have any of the little children playing with the big boys, really they should just join a block or leave am I right

Agree, if he still attack me personally is his own choice

i’m sorry where have you been the last decade? the merits of the idea are irrelevant now. It’s all about destroying the person presenting them

I should try that in work one time. Maybe in the last week of a contract though…

Because claiming I don’t have a job and misrepresenting my motives for supporting a change isn’t a personal attack?

And yeah, it’s a dream job.

It has nothing to do with making null sec safer. This change will have little impact on the safety of null.

did… you just quote me then repeat me?

Yes. I’m quoting you for emphasis.
