I am happy this was (and is being) resolved properly. CCP had the decency to own up to it’s mistake.
Mistakes happen - we all make them, and bias causes much more harm than good. IF CCP follows through with proper restitution to the aggrieved parties and handles those who caused this coup of sorts than no doubt it shall be a learning moment for all.
Many people were personally attacked (myself included) on these message boards for merely asking that everyone watching on the sidelines “keep a level head, do not rush to judgement as no facts or evidence have been presented by CCP, do not make personal attacks, and do not make this a court of public opinion issue.” - Then forum moderators show their bias and exercise power over those they disagree with / meaning clearly there is a problem, and it’s not just with CCP. This could be a very tasteful moment of reflection for us all - and I do hope it is. This is our community and like the real world communities that we live in does it make sense to muck them up? No because then we suffer too.

Now imagine if banned person would have been anyone less visible player, any less part of real life politics, odds are that this ban would have not given a second consideration. For sake of transparency it would be nice to have statistics of how much bans are enforced and how many of them are reverted.

Don’t be naive, there is no evidence to be posted. The whole thing wasn’t motivated by truthfulness of whatever claims leading to the bans, but by lawfare and potential financial losses.
i hope the person who banned brisc rubal and falseflagged him will get strong repercussions,maybe even lawsuit.

In finnish justice system sometimes innocent people get convicted for crimes they didn’t make. When this wrong sentence is corrected people are payed money for their imprisonment time.
I propose similar thing here. This case was major public embarrasment for Brisc Rubal and his alliance mates and probably caused lots of trouble for them. I propose that these banned accounts now receive 10 years free omega time for each account.

What about guys who used to be over 100mil sp extracted left the game for a few years, came back started again and is not at 100mil sp again yet. xD

This turn of events degrades the trust players have in the competent resolution of issues .
Without full transparency offered ,speculation and suspicion will abound .
The whole affair smells off .

oh noes. Humans made a mistake, how ever will I be able to love again. oh woe is me. whats real what isnt how can i know? how could a mid-sized recreation company staffed by humans not have their goals, policies and media posts perfectly aligned with my limited knowledge arm chair ceo-ing? what is wrong with the state of ccp and eve online? i have to re-evaluate all my life choices and join a monastery. oh woe woe is me.
CCP, I still love Eve Online. I vow to keep giving you $ so that you can keep making my favorite game. I will keep perspective as long as you keep owning your mistakes and continue to make the game better.
This “turn of events” and “travesty” have not eroded my trust, nor do I believe CCP should make the game/community exactly as I think (poorly) it should be, with my limited knowledge of internal and external processes. Keep making Eve and keep doing player meets and I will keep coming.
Thank you for all the YEARS of entertainment, good and bad, and I look forward to the next fifteen years, missteps and all.

That will never happen. I would be shocked and have renewed hope for EVE if this actually happened.

@Brisc_Rubal - Damn good to see you back again. We all knew it was a bunch of crap that you did anything anti-EVE. You are one of the few pilots left that are actually a positive influence on the game.
CCPlease - I want to see the heads of EVERYONE who falsely accused Brisc mounted on a pike and memorialized somewhere appropriate for us to piss on.
- Full Disclosure * I have never flown with, been in the same corp or alliance, or had any in-game interaction with Brisc Rubal during my entire EVE life. I just know him by the years of seeing and talking with him on Twitch. He is a straight shooter and one of the (very) few I respect in EVE.

Would hope that as its a game there’s still some elbow room for "how things should be done " but bottom line it’s a business ,in the real world,with real jobs . I hope your wrong but suspect your right .

I said this last night on Open Comms and it bears repeating - at no point in this situation did I ever threaten a lawsuit. I never had to. CCP was never coerced unto reversing themselves - they recognized they made a mistake and were committed to fixing it.
I give them credit for that, because it’s more than many companies would do.

Without prejudice to themselves and or without breaking any agreements is anyone directly involved able to offer a definitive root cause for this mistake ,why/how this happened ? With respect to the parties involved and time ,effort ,emotion this has taken from them can or will an answer be forthcoming that puts the whole matter to bed for interested players and all concerned alike .
