thats just the game maturing to the level it was intended to… this game is suppose to end in super powers battling it out for dominance… economic power is just as strong as military capability. there are so many titans because the game is old, ppl are rich and they want titans… so they pay 10s of billions of isk for them… this game was inevitably going o end in massive capital battles… im sorry some of you can only fly subs… maybe you should train for caps like I did, a cruiser has no business ■■■■■■■ with a capital PERIOD

it used to, it used to take out just about everything that wasn’t a super. then came the whines. I was there I saw it. the titan was feared, you didn’t need huge numbers of them to control a battle, you only needed one. and that was that.

Cap’s can only cyno so far, they would be stretching their super cap umbrella to wide leaving lots of weak spot’s.
Having to defend a greater area of space mean’s gorilla tactics have much greater effect, one of the biggest reasons goon’s are so strong is because of how concentrated they are allowed to be because of current eve mechanic’s go look at how their space is set up, its really strong in some place’s.

I was arguing against the 30 day ratting limit.
There are many blingy active dread fits that can soak a DD, and buffer fits can do it easily , without the hull energizer

I dont like that either, just saying there are ways of fixing the game against bots that dont involve screwing the player base.

Roams come into Delve all the time. Roams also go out of Delve all the time. Like, half a dozen pings for them a day, easily.
As for the sov grind… nobody wants to do it now. Nobody. Why do you think there really haven’t been any major wars going on? XIX is about to start one, sure (I mean, let’s face it, Vily confirmed it on Reddit), but that’s because he’s been on TEST’s couch. Look at the last big war that wasn’t the RUS trying to carve some space out for themselves… did we actually take any space?

It means it’s a game where eventually, the frontier gets settled. That’s what happens to frontiers. In 1860, the population of San Francisco was 56,802. 10 years later, it was 149,473. 10 years after that, 233,959.
And that’s in the real world, where wars take years to play out, where population shifts happen over decades. Online, all of those trends accelerate. We’re fifteen years in. You can’t expect the frontier to still be cattle rustlers and gunslingers forever. That’s not how human beings work. And as much as I despise human beings, EVE is stuffed with 'em.
