Funny.

Nobody seems to have any idea what tier of modules mutaplasmids will be used on the most.

Whether T1, or T2 or DED/LP.

Seems to be a “mystery” to all these trolls.

Could it be because they want more T2 sink, and for T2 mutated modules to form a T2.5, so as to eat into the DED/LP markets they cant control?

Could they be angry that I’m calling them on that?

Could that be why they avoid answering the simple question of which they will be used on most, and why?

Not much to guess, Meta, T2, and cheaper deadspace/storyline. Assuming the plasmids will be plenty and cheap. It will be very different per module type, because the important stats differ.

So it will eat into the faction and deadspace module space IMO.

Which most?

LP is missing from your analysis.

As said it will differ from module to module. T2 does not always have the best stats to start with.

Yes, we all know they have different stats.

Which tier will the most plasmids be applied to?

For that to guess, I would need to know the final mutator values and the price of the plasmids. In general if it is a mass thing, T1, meta, and T2 have an advantage of supply and price.

Indeed.
Especially T2.

That’s the problem here.
That T2 sink will increase T2 prices.
That mutated T2 modules will eat into the DED/LP module market.

I’ll use it on t2 risk to brick faction isn’t worth it
That’s from a farmers perspective who will collect from sites to buy I wouldn’t buy mutids

Yes it will, if the new modules are competitive and the stats overlap. But start could also be a meta module, not necessarily T2.

The abyss expansion is kinda wobbly tho here’s why.

On one hand we have low moderate to highly difficult dice roll items as far as farming sites concerned.

On another we got high chance of bricking modules with them therefore there’s no incentive to risk your ass for mutaplasmids.

Knowing the high chance of bricking the price will have to be very low for mutas to be used by ppl who don’t farm them directly also from an outsiders perspective why should he pay more for an unstable over gravid risk of bricking is same

So half the content of the sites is rather worthless to ppl that do not farm the sites on the other hand everyone and their dog will want the weapons ships ammo dmg mods etc so my best gues is most mutas won’t make the market the farmers will waste them hoping for a good roll on t2 mods or low tier faction and profit off the ships.

It would be even worse if a meta module can become a T2.5 module, to compete with both T2 and DED/LP markets.

Thats why I suggested metas automatically roll into T2, and T2 are excluded from mutation.

T2 balance must be maintained/preserved, as must the DED/LP module market.

The worst possible scenario, is T2 sink (leading to higher T2 cost on market), AND the mutated T2 modules eating into DED/LP module market.

That must not be allowed to happen.

PS: Yet that is exactly what T2 producers (Ie: Player NS) want to happen.
They want more T2 sink, cos they cant sell all their production atm, and they want in on the DED/LP market which they otherwise cant control.
Its win-win for them, and everyone else be damned.

This expansion is already almost dead on arrival.
If they do include T2s for mutation, it will just make matters worse ingame, as T2 prices rise, and DED/LP markets shrink, just so T2 producers can make more isk.

So what if they make more isk currently the game is in shorter supply of materials for t2 due to moons needing active ppl to mine them

It may even make mining in a barge more lucrative than carrier ratting who knows I have no problem with what mods go in the trash bin

T2 have the best price to stats ratio it’s why they’ll be picked

Even if t2 went 5 times up in price still best type for mutas

There is no shortness of supply of T2 mats.

And if there was, that is even less reason to allow mutation/bricking of T2 mods.

But alas let’s mention the sites too so far my impression is people log in do 2-3 sites and are happy with the difficulty I’ve even seen Twitter posts by devs only in tier4 currently the balanced approach doesn’t really exist

The sites initially seemed like a nice idea to niche away each faction to a type like amarr to electric and altho it works well for lower tiers it all goes out the window in t4 and t5

Certain spawns force a very rigid approach to fitting its do this and fit like this or guaranteed death

To make the matter worse only 1 ship thus far has showed consistent results with other factions basically being locked out of sites best suites for them such as the zealot munnin eagle deimos with others like vaga cerb sacrilege being bit better but nowhere able to complete tier5s with same impunity as the ishtar

Lets be honest.
The expansion is dead on arrival.

Whats important now, is mitigating it from harming the rest of the game, as specifically the T2 market stability, and even more importantly not eating into the DED/LP market which has already suffered for years.

PS: My tinfoil hat, is on this being a ploy for T2 producers to cause more sink, cos they are producing so much and there simply isnt enough destruction in EVE. Additional to that, they want in on the DED/LP market too, by offering T2.5 mutated modules, to draw customers off legit DED/LP modules.

You really need a chill pill

I’m sitting here eating some fine weiner schnitzels, mashed potatos and a salad, after a day with my sister and her cute chihuahua visiting here on my patio on our first real summer day in Finland.

I don’t know what you think when you read, but I’m chill throughout.

Is she hot?
