EvE FF 2022 Keynote catch phrase:
We are still early in the processâŚ
Striking visuals, player driven changes for content and new ships, player customizable ship and structure logos, multi account benefits and epic FW changes are all very exciting future plans for EvE. The only immediate release appears to be the price increase. Nothing mentioned in the Keynote is an immediate deliverable. Only a few items may show later in 2022.
FF 2022 appears to be largely about the âRoad to the 20thâ with the majority of deliverables proposed for May 2023 or later to celebrate 20 years of EvE Online.
FF was well attended but far from sold out if the empty seats at the keynote are any indication. Attendee energy was lackluster compared to prior FFs.
Lovin EvE as is? Jump on Omega sale, enjoy it for up to another year at current price. If you see major content release, decide then if the increase has the value for you.
If it continues this way the âroad to the 20thâ will end in a car crash⌠I really really want to love eve but man, ccp is making it difficult

whatever content you release there is a price limit , when you pass that people will just won t buy your product and buy something else witch might actually be better .Eve is currently the most expensive mmo out there .CCP may think they are the Ferrari but numbers say other wise .

I am at the point of deciding if I want to re-subscribe for another year or not now. I came back to the game last year after walking away in 2015 or so. I walked into a train wreck of bs like Iâve never seen in any other game.
The only thing that makes me want to stick around is my corp are good people, but that only takes you so far.

Well if you think about ressubing do it now with the -19%.
If CCP would have said âhey, times are tough. We lost a lot of subs from the sanctions, and inflation has been kicking in, and we donât have a huge community of players here, so weâre going to need to ask you for more money, and we arenât going to be able to do any major development,â I would have been willing to go along with that.
Instead, they pretended they had some huge new content update, and were apparently just flatly lying about that. So now it feels a whole lot dirtier to continue paying in.

Should we really be surprised at this point. The first clue should be the âdoubling your iskâ announcement in Jita 4-4, they actively encourage scamming, so why wouldnt they do so themselves.

yeah man i feel you when i was in harsh times ccp always cared for me and my welfare like every other company out there .But rly you are kinda ungrateful , you are w8 for new content but miss the hard work that ccp have put the last 2 years the industry changes the scarcity the fixing the economy staff the ess dps reserve banks âŚ(honorable mentions black out , plex ads , dr who ) someone needs to pay for all that have been given to you alrdy , and since numbers are going down the cattle that stays around must pay the price .

Well I am shocked. I expected annoucement like whole new ship tree with dozen of ships or at least triglavian mining ships and new combat & mining drones, or new structures or at least a few drifter ships or something available to the capsuleers instead several times mentioned how old is this game and listenning what they archieved and boring irrelevant things from Devs lives, It looks like they were preparing for it few hours in advance. There is almost nothing valuable to old players. New hangars and some emblems ok, but that´s it ? Seriously ? And they have the arrogance to increase Omega price for no new content in last two years and not anything over the horizon .If I would do the same at my job I would be probably fired. I am glad that I did not go there after all. To be honest regular game development studio would do similar content update bi-monthly and free of charge.
Perhaps they run the numbers and found out that it is better to just find new players who will play&pay for at least 5-6 years until they find out that there is not enough content for the ridicculous month payment so luring new players might be cheaper than producing new content for older players ( new ships and races, factions or new weapon types you name itâŚ)
Verdict : I pay for two Omegas each month and I wanted to start third but right now I am going to unsub on both and I will not buy omega again. I guess that I will not be only one- really good job CCP you just made first huge step towards financial suicide. 
Fanfest day 2 UPDATE : CCP says that they wont show us new ships, modules and all other stuff because they want to surprise us in Q4 2022 so lets see where that goes

Is that globally applicable?
No, but CCP is probably subject to it (there are a bunch of factors the GDPR looks at, like whether you make the services available for purchase in EU currencies). You can only assert those rights, though, if youâre a resident of the European Economic Area.
