[Discussion] PLEX and Omega price changes feedback thread

Yall are smoking crack if you think im gonna pay an increase like that in a depression.
the economy is about to collapse lol. and you think you can charge 5 dollars above an industry standard. come on if yall wanna be done with eve to try something new just say it and pull the plug. It would actually be cool if yall decided to do like star citizen or elite dangerous in EVE universe. lol

Goons: “Hold my drink!”

Nah. Mostly what we were saying was ‘Is this a joke? One long presentation of ‘look at what you guys did over the last 5 years! Yay! Now we get CCP Somebody Else to tell you… exactly the same things about what you did!! WOOOO!!!’ with only the art team and Aurora actually giving the game anything to look forward to?’

Don’t biomass, just leave it. Sometimes a dead tree trunk actually sprouts new green.

== Correction. Apparently dead. ==

Maybe some clarification talk will freshen this subject. Over and over the complaint is lack of “new content.” I don’t like some of what folks consider new content. Some of it I do.

For me, “new ships”, is just new spheres with different tables of attributes. There are PLENTY of current table driven spheres with a mind numbing set of possible “fits.”

What do you consider “new content?”

They could make pve better already, i’m not a fan of pvp and i’d like to see some enjoyable pve. Abyssal is okay but it gets old after a while.

And MAYBE undo all tge ■■■■ they’ve done to industry, that wouldnt be new content but still a breath of fresh air.

I think we can prevent this, if enough of us cancel our subscription, they will most definitely move it back to the normal price. 20 dollars is way to expensive for a subscription every single month, I would be shocked if others still subscribe.

I would like to see a pve element to the Faction Warfare Epic Arcs

I don’t think so, company pride. That would be admitting they were wrong.

It’s a pretty huge bucket of possible types of things. My personal favorite would be a new type of space. To me, the addition of wormholes was the biggest surge in new content so far.

It has always been the player base that is creating the most exiting content.
Instanced PvE, PvP get stale pretty fast, which is why I prefer to see such as “pseudo-content”. It bores out players easily and which is even worse, removes players from the sandbox and thus from meaningful player-player interaction.
Most things which are thrown at us with the label “new content created by CCP” turn out to be residue-waste-mechanics, nerfs and the killing of various common play styles that serve at driving people out of the game. And let me add: graphic revamps by your art team is anything else but “new content”…
Sure, you can put glitter on a turd…
If CCP at least had been honest with the price increase, which has been introduced to us as a “sale on PLEX” we, the customers of CCP would not feel as getting lied upon as many of us do now.

I disagree, pve and pvp players just arent the same people. I have no interest in pvp and wouldnt play the game at all if it was only about pvp combat. Creating interesting and meaningful pve might be boring for pvp players but it has its audience, which is very often underestimated. Sure some people do enjoy both but most pvp people dont like pve and vice versa.

Better to admit they are wrong then lose money, a lot of money

The entire game is based solely around PVP. Be it in space, in game chat, or on the market, you cannot escape PVP.

Generic answer with no meaning, thanks for sharing it.

If you do pve in the abyss, you may enjoy it. Fine. But, during the 20 minutes you fight the NPCs in the three rooms of your abyssal instance, none of the thousands of other players online can interact with you. People aren’t really in space anymore as they run abyssals instead, because that is where the money is at. Result: empty space and a game that is slowly but surely dying.

Except that you leave a scannable trace in space where gankers have all the time in the world to prepare. Game’s dying because it is already unforgiving and they killed everything that isnt pvp combat.

Don’t worry, you will still have the X series to play…

He’s right, art is their strongest department by several orders of magnitude.

Worst bit was when they started showing cities on planets with ships flying around them … I thought it was a lead up to a big announcement … but it was nothing. Just a ham-fisted way of talking about stations.
