Trust have been earned and ccp has done nothing in the past to trust them. You don’t increase prices before you show the update. this is just silly

Dear CCP, you had a captive audience a few years ago you know? The players of your game were utterly devoted to it; they would have paid this and more to play. But instead of a subscription based game you went with a monetized one trying to generate the big dollars in game. Wholesale changes, scarcity, toxic as f#ck industry patch, tanking ‘rebalances’, WCS and nullification… you watered it down. Now you have a sub-par product with less players logging in and shorter play times and you want them to pay more… sigh.
Sadly the bird has flown the coup. Your once great product is no longer great sadly. Best advice, roll back your changes CCP, give us back the way the game was before all of the current shitshow changes happened. You know when you’d regularly have 30k+ players online.

Ive been asking the same question for years
So after 19 years, almost 20 years of Eve Online, I guess it’s time to say farewell. Was pushing it paying $20 month AUD, but definitely NOT paying $30 month AUD. So it’s time to bite the bullet and put an end to my Eve Online career and Retire my Main Omega Account. Time to join the Alpha Ranks or look to New Horizons as something different.

Remember when wormholes were harder to find. A lot harder. Now everyone dives wormholes. Remember when you had to upgrade your clone and to bad if you did not. Remember when you had to have corp standings to use jump clones? I do. Yeah they watered down the game. Probably because the young crowed as in less than 18 years old cried about it.

OH!!! i have it!!! the big reveal at FF is CCP is going to give you all their failed and failing games as F2P, with of course in game purchases…
This would be acceptable if the game was actually being updated and changed in the way which the players want, I wanted to be an industrialist, but now doing that is not fun and more of a pain, also the game has been stagnant for 2-3 years now, I remember that the mining changes outraged the community and lead to many people quitting completely or not having many subbed alts, but that was a in-game change, this is a real-life change and will go down in history as the beginning of the end. I can already see CCP joining the meme game producers such as RIOT

Yeah, I thought about it and went back and looked up my older trained up toons. I hate to waste all that time, and I still enjoy the game, Thought about consolidating all my best toons into maybe three accounts. Then said nah just two. Then looked at the new pay chart and said damn, almost one hundred dollars for subbing just two accounts for three months. Crap man. I could do all the things that would decrease my monthly expenses.
I could cancel my wireless. I could not get any vehicle newer than 2002, but my near three hundred thousand mile beater Toyota pick up needs serious work, or a replacement at the least.
I could never go out to dinner ever again. I could lose my cable sub. I could always make my own lunch to bring to work. I could do more. Its all a trade off anyway, but its also only a game. A game I enjoy. A game I have loyally resubbed for around 12 years or so now. The current economic reality does not help at all.

Just on my measily little survey that got less than 200 votes when tallied totals to nearly 500 accounts unsubbed if you base the “6 or more” option conservatively at only 6. And I’m sure a very large portion of people saying they’ve unsubbed just on THIS forum, (not counting reddit and other forms of social media) have not even SEEN my strawpoll.
TLDR my tiny little strawpoll already shows about 500 subs gone. and probably <0.001% of people who unsubbed has even seen my poll

CCP doesn’t care if they sink the ship. They got nothing to lose since they don’t own it. Ever since CCP sold Eve Online to Pearl Abyss, the game has been on an ever downward spiral.
