The only skin I like is that biohazard skin that makes it a little harder for others to see what guns I have fitted.
And I would like a skin that hurts the eyes of anyone looking at my ship:

Well, I expected this. Great idea that should have been done a long time ago. Instead, you made it impossible for a player to get anything out of doing any content in the game. With this price increase, it will only effect the players actually paying for the game. The others that are plexing from in game isk will not be effected at all. Thus you will lower your actual income from players, because of the loss of players that just barely could afford your monthly amount and was glad to pay to keep the game going. But my opinion still stands “If you get rid of Plex the game will die”. So your move will just bring it to an end faster.

Just saying, I have had people ask me why i would pay for a game subscription instead of as an example a netfilx subscription, I always said as eve for me is more enjoyable even it cost a tiny but more, but now eve is going to cost more than 2x the price and i ask myself for what, no new content, not listening to the player base which has been around for longer than some employees and only offer good ideas as they are the ones who are actually involved in the playing. I mean if CCP can give me even 1 good reason to sub again then I will, i would not be happy about the price increase but if i knew there was a reason for it such as more employees for new ideas or other stuff etc then i am happy to but without reason this change is aboslute BS and will only kill eve, what you have done is essentially turned eve forever to eve never

So you mean to tell me your pockets haven’t been lined enough since you went the way of Activision and developed this formerly beloved game into a pay-to-win?
Or let me phrase it another way, microtransaction game. The price hike is insulting and stupid honestly. I swear if you were more interested in getting people to sub the game, you wouldn’t need the microtransactions to line your pockets. So, I agree with the others that this is shameless.
You’ve nickled and dimed the good people of New Eden long enough. You’ve made it almost an addiction to want to buy skins and plex for a game that is catered to your nulsec goons and other associated rats, who can churn out isk like it’s water from a well.
Meanwhile highsec and lowsec are a Mad Max grab for land, what few viable resources exist, OH and try not to get ganked while you’re making it. The ships that can make it relatively easily in high sec cost enough to be gank magnets often times.
You’ve really pissed me off, a struggling college graduate expecting a child on the way. I was looking forward to making it to 20 years with Eve. But I’m not so sure I can afford it now. I’ve left before due to financial hardships, but I kept coming back. There are aspects about this game I love.
And then there is a laundry list of s**t that I think has been blind research and development changes which have destroyed beloved parts of this game. This is blatant expansion of your payroll and costs for development of new content without actually balancing your budgets.
Stop making videos on top of volcanos and instead use the fortunes you’re making on plex moguls, skin income, and skill injectors to better this game!
19.99 a month. Ridiculous greed is what that is. I guess I can say goodbuy to the second account I had plans for. I’ll not be paying you $40 a month. Nor can I afford to “pay ahead” for a so called discount. Greed and shameless is what you are.
Oh and before you and every other goon says to plex my account and play for free, I’ll show you the full time job I have, plus wife I take care of after that while our child is on the way. No I don’t think I’ll justify myself and my concerns for the sake of this game.
Good luck having nothing but gold farming bots and nulsec to bother going forward.

So what is the justification for this price increase no other mmo has done this and others have been doing this longer. As well netflix just tried the same thing and lost 35% market value in the week following this decision. Based on the reality of these facts do any of you know what the real world looks like? As well the responses i have seen from CCP staff to concerns about this show that this company really has no idea what its doing.

- makes it almost impossible for us to build caps
- you make promises that you don’t keep or implement with a massive delay
- increasing the cost of all players for omega
■■■■ also point 1 to 3 I can still cope but a 25% increase I only say one thing with point 4 you lose another 20-35% of the players

Oh inflation is a real tool. It always has been and how we average folk are fooled every time by governments who use it.

Tough language but I agree.
i was asked to explain why i think this impacts industrialists more se and verely than pvp.
the ridiculous response to scarcity was to make twice as much ore and include waste (if you use higher skill miners over t1). the result is a lot more ore that lowers the market , but takes much longer to mine. so more effort, less isk.
then came the industry change. adding dozens of additional requirements and transactions. made it virtually impossible for solo or small industry groups to build anything. and once they did, the profit margins were low even at the inflated prices. again, more effort, less isk.
the upcoming changes to undo some of that dont go far enough. Builders have already quit the game, miners are leaving as well.
without high isk generation like incursions or pochven, industrialists will not survive the higher plex costs. The incentive to multibox your way to plexing your account as an industrialist is gone. if anything it is a disincentive. Perhaps CCP could look into ways to make industry profitable again to keep those subs

You use the worse possible time to have an increase. With gas and electric heading to new heights, fuel prices always going up you decide it is time to have a wopping big increase. I guess you can afford to watch all those regular players, at first quickly, and then slowly disappearing as money needs to be spent elsewhere. Guess I can continue using all your server time as an alpha clone.
