Just launched EVE and this is what I see after picking my character
logged out and back in and its back to normal, but they both worked, except when disabling light background, only the left one actually changed.

Clear the cache and restart.
If only we could get that, but with one on either side of the screen, and the ability to pin different icons to each.
I just relogged as I mentioned and it was back to normal.
@Hatch_Nasty it would be nice if we had one on both sides I think
