Elite PvP vs Ganking

It clearly bothers you

I only mine in Lowsec and only in Ventures. First load I pay attention but after that I browse the forum, cook myself something to eat, go to the bathroom… I recently got my Venture blown up by NPC cause I was paying attention to the forum, boohoo, it’s all free.

Not really. I have a great group that I fly with now.

They all have compliant tanked fits like you?

Oh you still think i mine all the time and only fly with other miners.

Living in the past. Another of your failings. Do you ever evolve?

Evolve: develop gradually, especially from a simple to a more complex form.

These forum junkies live in fantasy land. Dont bother even replying to the nonsense dribble. They play Eve Online and cant even understand why this toon im on doesnt have a real killboard to qualify my own experience. They probably say things like… If youre so rich then show me the isk in your wallet. Its a poor-mans mentality. They have no concept what it means to succeed or how to comprehend power. They are brokies who have never had real wealth or power. They dont know what its like to actually PvP.
Eve is a game thats good at letting posers lie to themselves. Kinda like when they are in a fleet of 100 noobs in trash ships shooting one guy on a gate. Hold him for me so I can get a killmail lol. Think about it… 101 killmails for 100 f1 monkeys to pretend they won a participation trophy. Ive got alts with 100% kill ratios because they are only used in fleets. It means nothing.

So…282 posts later…the lesson from the entire thread is…

" I do it…therefore it is elite "

The entire thread makes no sense as Ganking is ELite PvP

Ganking isn’t elite PvP and whoever thinks it is is out of his mind.

Been trying to tell him that for days.
Apparently he likes to waste his time with trolls.

I started with a good crew. CCP drove out the best players from the game and the forums. Now I’m Ronin… Without that combat training from the start, I would never have achieved what I have.

I have 3 accts. I hardly mine anymore even though I have the toons who can. All are 1st, scouts. Can’t find a war target without them and still expect a kill back then. Anything after that is just a bonus.

It doesn’t show!

“EVE”. Everyone Vs Everyone. While the game is old and borked now. The original concept is still valid. Build a more balanced game on that premise.

Humor me please What were they doing there in the 1st place? If you want to die quickly, that seems a good way to do it?

I started with real players also in the same situation who were also driven out by CCP. I wont say too much but I feel ya bro. Respect earned. I learned the most from the man, the god… Zetish Strix.

The worst part is we will never get them back. EVE doesn’t offer the challenges or opportunities it used to.

You’d need a complete reset for a chance of that happening. The old crowds are gone and new crowds have taken their place. That happens to everything. Nothing lasts forever. Honestly, to tell you the truth, I don’t see much difference outside of ship design and new crowds. New ships, new designs, new balances, new nerf, and new buffs. So much in the way of ship design has changed, but the meat of it is still the same-

  1. Low Sec is still a death trap to expensive ships- cloak and run or stay and die.
  2. Null Sec is ruled by pirates and corporations- outsiders aren’t welcome- cloak and run or stay and die. (Bribes and pay-offs are welcome- gotta pay your rent to those who already control trillions of ISK)
  3. High Sec miners do make money despite all the people claiming otherwise. It’s not billions, but it’s still something. High Sec miners still fly Orcas, Hulks, and Mackinaws. They still move their spoils in large freighters. High Sec mission pay-outs suck, but mining ice nets an easy profit.
  4. Losing a 400 million ISK ship in High Sec to a ganking squad hurts, but it still isn’t enough to ruin the profit unless you’re always getting ganked. If it obliterated profit, no one would be doing it anymore.
  5. Losing a Venture in Low Sec doesn’t hurt at all. Those ships are free and the profit makes the rISK not only worth it, but it completely trivializes the loss.
  6. Despite all of the buffs, nerfs, attempts at balance, and massive unneeded ship changes, several trash destroyers can still blow up an expensive ship.
  7. And most importantly, this game is still pay to win and has been for over a decade.

Yeah, things have changed, but some things never will.

Hello, @Afrodites When I think about elite I think about the armed forces of the world, regardless of the nation.
I think it’s quite hilarious to be talking about elite in a video game. It is laughable and a little sad that some people have so low of a self-esteem that they need to consider themselves elite while dragging a mouse and clicking on a button.

Incorrect.

A venture pilot was crying recenlty about some evil -10 ganking his venture with a venture in low sec.

Fixt

Try again.

Hi, @Ninah_Hagen

I agree with you. There is nothing elite about sitting on a chair and pressing buttons.
I think they call themselves “elite” to spite those who aren’t like them. It’s a bit like high-school where some students mock those who aren’t economically equal. It’s petty and childish.

Dive into the thread , there are enough tears for Zaera to swim in.

That’s why we call them losers :joy:

The game has become bland. The numbers show it. Want a game where new players are misinformed, you got it.

Like the numbers at this point.
