You are soooo right, I can’t point this out enough.
If you come to a videogame forum and you want to claim elite status, you best be the living personified avatar of war or I am going to lose my mind. Like, I am a humble guy, and things like slaying 50 terrorists in hand to hand combat, fighting your way out of a tunnel covered in mines and MG nests with nothing but a bow and arrow, piloting a helicopter and picking up the wounded guys while dodging missiles from five MIGs and also taking out the pilots with a well thrown improvised knife, that’s just entry point stuff, kind of where I estimate all you guys to be.
Like I am just laughing, literally bellowing at the thought, that you would come to this forum and even write words without having done any of this stuff, oh my god, ahah. Like, imagine you are someone that never even used his helicopter rotorblades to cut a MIG in half, @Ninah_Hagen, can you imagine that? I have no doubt that you have plenty of experiences like this to share, you are a true trooper. Man, it feels good to be in some proper company, how about we crack a few beers later?

Well, the “sense of perspective” they leaned is you can die from inexperience and that they should learn more about the before complaining.

wormhole corps/alliances. their pvp is crazy if you look at some of the videos. I’ve seem many long fights with lots of repping, neuting and energy transfer.

You are missing the third catagory, the real Elite are the Eve forum warriors.
James is pretty smart , almosty as smart as Zaera.
According to her mirror though, Zaera is the smartest of them all.
Well as Zeara is the bestest forum warrior an expert at forum ganking dorks, crybabies and f1 monkeys, that maens she is like super elite.

And I must say, the way you conduct yourself in your speech almost makes me think you are a civilian. I thought that you were elite, what happened? You talk like you never even took out an entire tank column all by yourself with nothing more than a sling and a bottle of vinegar.
This will come off as extremely insulting and very direct, but I must absolutely know: You did take out an entire tank column at least once in your life, right?

What is, elite PvP?
I think this is a discussion worth having. First we need to define “elite pvp?”
What exactly is that? Is it a 150+ fleet battle in nullsec where everyone presses F1 at the same time?
Is it, a 1 v 1 in frigates in low sec?
Is it catching some miner unaware in highsec with 20+ catalyst.
Or is it, anything that simply identifies as “elite pvp?”
Once we’ve established a good working definition, then we can decide if you blowing up some lowly venture in highsec would be considered, elite.

On a totally different note, I believe that I can become an Elite PvPer in about two weeks flying only corvettes.
What do you say about that?

Elite PVP is when you are caught out alone by three ships and are completely locked down and seriously out gunned, but you destroy every last one of them.
Every thing else in the game is just taking turns kicking each other in the shins until one of you falls over, as said by Zero Punctuation:

Maybe CCP should add an Elite tag to the forums (similar to the Veteran one) just to spice things up.
