But you have to realize I’m gonna do whatever I want when I want.

Like I’m going to enjoy everything eve has to offer.
And this includes people in our community.

But joke aside it is clear he has anger management issues and self-admittedly couldn’t even hold himself back from assaulting you in real-life if he had the chance.
This along with his clearly presented judgementalism based mindset and religious zeal (the latter of which I originally thought is just some roleplay but based on his latest posts is his actual persona and worldview) shows he is an unstable person, full of frustration, hatred, takes himself overly seriously and lacks self-discipline when it comes to his emotions which all stem from his uncontrolled fixation on judgement.
All that he is, a person full of judgement, both when it comes to himself and others, that he can not let go of. Apparently it seems he is the victim of his own mindset.

I would too, as any totally safe space is by definition totally boring space. The risk in undocking is a large part of the fun of Eve.

I agree with that but it doesn’t necessarily have to do with ganking, there is risk in all spaces in EVE and it’s exciting to know that someone can drop on you at any time.
I just wish there’d be less ‘salt mining’ and more consideration for fellow players. But as I said, EVE may be just a game but it is populated by real-life people amongst which too many are ignorant a-holes.
But Eve is supposed to be a harsh and unforgiving environment. It has a deliberate dystopian setting and even the police are corrupt. It’s not Teletubbie LaLa Land. It is dog eat dog and unapologetically so. If people can’t cope with this then they are playing the wrong game and should stick to Farmville rather than demanding that Eve be altered.

The police are corrupt in real life too, doesn’t mean everybody is supposed to go around robbing, insulting and beating each other up.
No one that plays EVE wants Teletubbies LaLaLand, we’re not kids but that doesn’t mean we’re supposed to be a-holes to each other.

At the end of the day it only proved Sasha’s point that it goes both ways and both sides are guilty of it. Even going so far as to have a live demonstration of it publicly on the forums.
I think he took the point on this debate.
However I do agree CCP should take note.

My personal opinion so take it with a grain of salt
Is the people that leave Eve on account of ganking had already decided long ago they were done with the game. And it’s easier for them to blame gankers because it’s the easiest cope out to virtue signal out the door rather then just be honest and say it’s not for them anymore. That they want to play new games and experience other communities.
