Like, for example, Austria doesn’t have a boomer generation compared to those in the US. We have old, self entitled assholes like everywhere else, but the numbers are vastly different due to the fact that we had war, pretty much everyone lost everything and things had to be rebuilt.

Interesting read on Austria, but the numbers of births post WWII through 1964 do show a higher growth rate in the population since the 1900-1925 surge period. Other than 1945, deaths were not out of line with the national trends during the war. I understand that many of those deaths may not have been counted until the end of the war. It does look like you have a boomer generation (at least a quarter of the population). What is interesting, is that the children of post WWII parents are having a lot fewer kids.

A lot of people are in eve beacause they want to be part of something big. Remove thatand you remove a lot of new player who want to join the game.

Regardless of how they attempt to frame the situation with words and dev blogs, from anything I can see CCP still has the same goal they’ve had for the past decade: to position EVE’s environment such that anyone who’s ‘serious’ about the game will end up moving to Null and running multiple Omega alts so they can participate in the occasional Null-war that makes news and records.
If you’re not ‘serious’ about the game (meaning plan to sub multiple accounts and engage in nullwars), then CCP’s attitude appears to be “let them eat space”.
If you want to be able to run your accounts such that you can hit your goal of taking on those big null sec battles, then move to null sec, join an alliance, get on an SRP, and do what they tell you to do while you use a couple alts to farm ISK in Null. That is the approved playstyle.
