You trust no one and even suggest others to act equally deranged.
You see victims everywhere.
You deny any- and everyone any form of self responsibility.

There’s a problem with the basic principle you Amphiprioninae believe so strongly: that it’s impossible to improve the introduction process to EVE, because all the players who might become long-term players stay anyway, and all the others would have left soon enough
It not a point that has to be argued, because it’s obviously insane.
Yet if it could be improved significantly, most of what you say here is nonsense.
It’s not victim blaming to call a sheep a sheep. It’s just observation.
The npe does circulate around missions, you’re not wrong there. But that doesn’t mean that is all there is to eve.
You’re still way off the mark. Not only is there countless resources of what there is to do in eve, there is the new agency feature which is all about the different things in eve, and of course there is simply asking other players.
One day you have to cotton on that the players who are struggling are the ones not doing any research, not using tools and not interacting with other players.
We’re spending tons of resources helping players that cannot/will not help themselves. And most importantly, won’t stick around in a sandbox.
The quality of the advice they receive depends on who they ask for advice, very few of us “bittervets” would encourage newbies to grind; in fact most of us would encourage them to get out there and find people to fly with that can teach them how to make isk while having fun; and how to bounce back from setbacks.
I’m all for improving the situation, but not by doing it the wrong way, because that’s not improving the situation! You can not turn this into “you’re against improving the situation”, because it would imply that what you believe would be improving it, is correct.
Fact is it’s not! That’s not how you raise new players, or children, into self responsible, critically thinking adults!
Another fact is that you’re a totalitarian ass who does not, in any way or form, contribute anything positive to society! Instead you declare that everyone’s a victim and that those, who believe in self responsibility, are “against progress”, or “griefers”, or whatever it is you call them.
How about you get a life, go outside more, actually get friends!
When you can not see that your inability to put trust in anyone is a problem with you,
combined with the fact that believing that one can not trust anyone is absolutely nuts
and a sign that you’re beep
up,
then you at least need to learn to see that the one thing YOU definitely CAN NOT trust
is your opinions on literally EVERY social matter!
How can you not see this? When you have no understanding of people and when you lack any and all actual empathy, which you made clear over and over again, how can you believe to know what’s best for others? You just CAN’T!
Furthermore is your inability to trust anyone a sign that YOU can not be trusted, because YOU not trusting others means that YOU WILL BACKSTAB THEM WHEN YOU GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO SO simply because you wrongly believe that they would be doing the same anyway!
People who lack any trust in others can not EVER be trusted!
Edited some posts that were using excessive profanity.
Can you guys please tone down the profanity!, especially you @Solecist_Project.
Thank you!
If a new player needs protection then they are not suited to EVE.

Two minutes after the above post was sent to the forums, it magically got flagged.
Magically, because it takes around 10 flags for a post to get hidden
and the chance of that happening within the first two minutes after posting,
by apparently everyone who read it,
while the post itself is perfectly on-topic and not breaking rules,
should tell you something about the low quality people running rampant around this forum.
Relvara strikes me as a LSG alt
I can still read your post and agree with it being hidden/flagged. You strait up are in attack mode using profanity. You were even warned a couple posts earlier.
To the OP. The game has made major changes over the years for the new players. And continue to add user friendly UI upgrades for all.
If they go much further the game will no longer be the game we know and love. Some already believe that point has been past.
New players will always be a target, its survival of the fittest. Best fit ship and their friends that is. So study up learn to protect yourself in high sec, not complain about it. I would very disappointed if high sec lost any more danger.
It is a LSG alt. First one without LSG for some time.

The other one, I know of, was mimi45.
They are pretty easy to spot.
Also, apparently hidden posts don’t come up with a nice reference box, so you got to endure some ugly url’s.
I think they’ve compensated quite well for new players, they can credit card their characters up to a decent sp. I remember my first round not feeling safe undocking for about 3-4 months into playing.
It may be monetization of the system like crazy, but CCP’s intended direction was VR->it tanked.

Eve has lost over 20 thousand players in the years I have played this game, and it is sad to see.
The player base continues to tell CCP that the one thing that drives players away the most is CCP continuing to allow players to suicide kill other players in empire space, with little to no ramifications for their actions, while the players they kill take huge losses.
No one will continue to play under such circumstances, and the drop in population shows it.
Take CCPs position allowing suicide ganking in empire to continue to it’s natural conclusion; no one will bother to contribute to the economy because it would just be destroyed, and everyone would sit around and suicide gank each other until there is nothing left.
All CCP has to do is disable people from being able to fire on each other in empire space without a war dec. Very simple, they already have the mechanic in the game - bombs don’t work in empire, capitals can’t jump to empire, etc. CCP, if you want to attract people to play this game, create a safe space for people to learn and play in safety, and then move out to null sec or take part in war decs when they are ready.
Dust514 is shutting down, your Valkyrie product is not going to have a good reputation either, when your preceeding product is hated by most of the gaming community.
Will the Council try to get across to CCP that the on going state of Eve-Online is glorified gang warfare, disgusting to all civilized people, and must change as outlined above, to continue to survive.
3 years later CCP continue to falling doooooown
why? because Eve creators are no mre at CCP, in CCP now is just XXXX and XXXXX “developers” and bussinesmans
That’s hilarious and now I realize I’m in a thread intended for youth.
That’s not attacking people, especially when I’m not even attacking anyone directly, here, right now. An attack is something physical. Using words, especially when they’re accurately describing the people I’m talking about, with the forums providing tons of evidence of these people actually being assholes, is NOT an attack.
I understand your point. One of my more recent posts actually got editted by an ISD, because I’ve overused the word. He did not delete the post, he just editted it and (paraphrasing) told me to cut it out. I’m definitely not overdoing it in this post.
That explains the quick flagging and hiding.
Thanks! Nice work!
Hey, man, awesome work!
Thank you!
mimi45 is 100% confirmed to be an LSG alt.
With these kind of antics, why do you think eve has lost so many? Look in the mirror…sheesh
I block content…What’s your revelation?
Eve has lost people over the past years, because of the quality and CCP’s inability to fix issues plaguing the game. Combine this with gaming being past the “hype” era of MMO’s, it makes perfect sense that EVE have had a decline in player numbers. Especially in a game that was already a niche product at the time of its prime.
It has nothing to do with some people getting posts flagged on a forum.
I know, the VR thing+++. I’ve kept up with some issues but have been too busy to commit to a game. I understand what you’re saying but it’s like a butterfly effect. I think a healthy community with a touch of roleplaying the bad guy is fun, but some have taken too far?
