Yep, that’s pretty funny! It’s what I get for being in a hurry for work and posting on the forums. Should I change it to you’re or will that mess up your post?
Oh, nice… will EVE become a theme park Game in near future?
If yes… this would become the point of no return…
and a reason to leave.
Yeahhh.
Much more time to do other things.
Funny, you fixate on the wrong element of my post.
My point is that a subscription is not required to do highsec content. And that point stands true, even if only by virtue of the fact that you can do it in nullsec where the rats are tougher. Ultimately, it is as I said. Highsec players are in no way compelled to pay CCP to play and do their thing.
The losses they generate drives the industrial war machine. Comparatively, their LP, mining, and mission running isk are a drop in the bucket relative to low, null and WH space. Net result, they have virtually no “positive” (I say this as a function of influx, not as good/bad) impact in their activities.
So feel free to get that excavator. My argument is based on MERs. What’s yours based on?
This is literally a juxtaposition of highsec. I’m laughing so ■■■■■■■ hard right now. One retard is calling the other stupid for not wearing a helmet while both hit their heads against the wall.
You simply do not get that EXACTLY THIS is what is WANTED today…
You may like it or you may like it not but fact is that nanny games prosper while unforgiving games perish all over the market…
Reality proves my words so the bottom line is that you while denying those facts and the only logical conclusion that solves this (to change the game in the direction wanted by the market) are wrong by any means.
If you not like it you’re free to go…others will join the moment they see that there is a place where they can live undisturbed by the strange PVP hobby…
That’s the what you don’t get…the sheer mass of people that DON’T like PVP at all…
YOU are the minority and 15 years count nothing when on the other hand a perishing game is at hand…
But we all know that there are serious people out there that say eve should rather DIE than beeing changed in that direction…and they MEAN it…
People leave this game because a SINGLE playstyle(PVP) is able to beeing forced upon them.
Give them a high where PVP is only possible if accepted by both sides(like in a duel) and they would not…
You are really stuck in your “pvp is the only content every game has” world…
Absurd, totally absurd like the rest of your rants. Of course not. Industry and market are the main driving forces in hisec. Piracy (non-consensual PVP) , in my opinion, just make it a bit more interesting and that’s all. You remove this and you get the most boring game ever created.
The majority has another opinion…
They just want to be able to play AS THEY WANT TO…
PVP would not be killed in the game just beeing moved to low and 0.0,so no real change for that beside the fact that the “let’s kill unarmed indus and PVE fitted mission runners because they are easy prey” people would become the easy prey and PVE’ers could finally roam high freely as they deserve it…
And THIS is what the self proclaimed “PVP’ers” in high fear the most…REAL competion…
It’s WAY easier to kill an unarmed ship that cannot shoot back than an actual opponent that is able to bite back…
In my eyes? My eyes have been watching my DST BR and freighter jumping, market orders, research and industrial jobs for 4 years, covered with scordite dust for 2 years. I know what it is. I’m more a carebear than you could think. All my revenues come from hisec carebearing. I can tell you one thing for sure: if you remove piracy from hisec, people will go.
Yes people will go…and more will come…the fact that you deny that such a change could have a positive effect shows that your are just talking over drying cement that you use to cover your fear of such a change…there is no proof that it will be negative…
All those apocalyptic talks are just conjectures and assumptions because nobody tried it yet…
But sometimes it’s easier to cover your opinion in concrete than to actually adapt to a change…even if the game dies in the process.
There’s no proof that it would be positive either.
Like @Mevatla_Vekraspek my playstyle is that of a carebear, I’m assuming, like myself, that he uses the current game mechanics and social networks to his advantage; IE making sure that PvP is something that mostly happens to other people.
Avoiding the attentions and dastardly plans of the likes of Marmite, PIRAT, CODE. etc by means fair or foul are what makes the game fun for some; this being a competitive MMORPG and all.
If CCP were to attempt to remove PvP from hisec they would also be attempting to remove a part of the playstyle of people that don’t do PvP but accept its presence and work around it, a number of them being industrialists and miners with money to burn.
Nothing will prevent me to adapt if you are right about the newcomers. As you have reading comprehension issues, i’ll repeat myself: i do not kill people in hisec, i only sell them my junk. Understood? Now i know more won’t come, but i swear that, if in one full year, there’s a noticeable increase of population due to the restriction on aggressions in hisec, i’ll publicly beg you to pardon me, and you’ll have all latitude to humiliate me. For now, you are just a fool.
in 8 years … i killed no one… only got killed.
I’m full industrialist, not more not less, and i haul my stuff mostly by my self.
A theme park game, where you have just to follow predefined paths… is just an ideal room for brainless people.
Use your brain, and you are mostly SAFE in EVE… but this is the problem.
Today the majority of peoples are just unable to use it, just unable to reflect, not only ingame but also in real life.
They lost the most important thing…
… the common sens.
