First off, CCP didn’t sell themselves, long term investors cashed out, which is what long term investors do when the time is right and someone comes along with a stupidly high offer.

Secondly, what do you think will happen to your PVE / carebear activities with less stuff blowing up? How much will that loot and salvage be worth from your lvl 4 missions? How much do you think that trit you mine will be worth with less ships and structures going BOOM? How much longer will you have to grind to PLEX your accounts with your lower income from high sec activities.

People need to understand that the EVE economy is based on destruction of assets. If the balance is somehow tilted in a safer direction, it will do far more damage to EVE than a few war dec or gankers could ever do.

well well well would ya look at you, showing up to EVE and then telling everyone you know how to fix EVE.
your issue is you see EVE as broken when it’s not, you don’t understand that the heart and soul of EVE is PVP.
industry is driven by the loss of stations ships and mods. what you want is CCP to step in and make the game the way you want it, because, well, you know how to fix EVE.
you come to a multiplayer game and then want to be left alone.
you can’t understand the implications of safe zones and you really don’t understand PVP doesn’t always come with an invite in EVE, that danger or risk is always there no matter where you are in space, you’d remove that without thinking and feck it all, just to please the very few people who’d want safe zones like yourself.
the game isn’t broken balos, but your actions if allowed would break it beyond repair.
stfu and play the game, if you don’t like it you can always leave, ya know, what normal people do when they don’t like something, they stop it.

Yours has been missing in action for 15 years.

It’s legally dead.

CCP’s new investors/owners aren’t going to change the game as radically as people like you wish for, and when you do find a game with a dev dumb enough to cave to your demands you play for a couple of months and then move on, like locusts. Meanwhile those that stay despite radical change are generally left with a game that’s broken either in terms of mechanics or number of players.

TL:DR You’re an invasive species. You need burning with antimatter before you breed.
