Someone is always going to have an advantage, if it’s not SP it’s multiboxing, if it’s not that it’s more PLEX or more members or more experience… I don’t see the difference in those advantages.
I have no problem with that. Meanwhile, the game is fun and challenging and that’s all one can expect from a corporation. Some corporations don’t even give you fun or entertainment but rip you off blind if you even give a hint of needing something.
I don’t ask much of CCP: keep the server going and try to squash the bugs. That’s all.
Pretty much every serious EVE player has a minimum of two accounts which they multibox on. Pretty much everyone I know has 3+ accounts - anything less and you will just be a lonely grinder.
ProTip: PVE (or mining) you don’t need 3 screens to multibox - you can use the same screen and just swap windows. But if you are a serious PVP player then it is recommended to have a multiscreen setup.
If you recognize that all this is true but still make it work for you, you cannot say that it should also be work for others who (rightly) want fairness and regulations. Is like passive smoke in those countries were is still allowed in close areas (I dunno if still there are), you do, is allowed but you’ve to admit is wrong. Simply wrong.
I think not. I think, you need to be taxed more, both in RL and in game so I don’t have to work and the government can take care of me. And while you’re slaving away earning a pay check and contributing to global warming, I’ll be busy do much more important work.
Throwing tomato soup on famous works of art and super gluing my hands to the motorway to advocate for dinosaur rights.
I also think a portion of your EvE isk should be taxed and given to people who can’t play as much, like me, because of our very work important advocating for dinosaur rights.
What you have, should be shared equally with everyone else.
I’m not. I don’t really bother thinking if it’s fair for others. I only know what I can live with and what’s best for me.
Also, “fair” really doesn’t exist. It’s all about what you can accept.
I don’t have to admit it’s wrong, I have to do nothing unless dictated by a cop, a judge or at the point of a gun.
Problem is, those weren’t that extreme. Seeing it more and more
But it was fun flinging it around. Probably should get back on par with the theme of this thread tho.
I have to disagree with the whole multibox/p2w argument when it comes to EVE. Why? What exactly are you winning? A fight? Fights are never fair ever. Multibox or several players on grid or better ship fits etc.
Mining? 4 multiboxed vs 4 individuals will do the same amount of isk etc. The only difference is, a multiboxer keeps all isk while the 4 split it.
Fleet fights? Ill have to say i think actual players in a fleet would have the advantage(my opinion) for the fact it can be more difficult to manage multibox than individuals (could be wrong on this)
So i dont see eve ever being p2w since the term “win” is subjective
