Remember risk is subjective. Risky for you might be simple for the majority of others.
I’m curious why I have to click “activate” a half dozen times before the filament opens. There’s no other filament present, I’m not within range of anything and there’s no tether or invulnerability timer. Is there an Abyssal pocket “queue” I’m unaware of?
Should drop some salvage from the ships to make the lower (1-3) ones a little more worth it for the risk. As far as PVE goes this is pretty much the most engaging I’ve done, I love it. Burners are predictable and carrier/rorqual farming is brain dead. Maybe make only the battleships have wrecks that can survive that environment, salvage a bunch of tech I, maybe tech ii generic stuff and maybe new types of salvage for disintegrator rigs? Also would love to see another kind of filament that takes two people into maybe 3-5 pockets with amped up spawns. Could play it off like you need to link the warp containment fields of two cruisers or whatever. Looks beautiful I just got a new top end computer a few months ago and I’m glad I did, very stunning visuals and I like the way the screen goes a bit dark now when those huge weapons fire near the camera. If you guys can eventually make all of EVE look like this I can die with no regrets lol. #iplaywithsoundandcamerashake
Edit: oh also maybe instead of a suspect flag make it so tier 4 and 5 can be jumped into by cruisers at the signature and since it’s the abyss no rules

My suggestions…
Make the Custom Office list collapsable, or ability to remove the planet graphics
Remove the Warp to Planet right click and make the Custom Office warp menu the standard one.
Remove the holographic images when you select a item…example of trying to move your spaceport items into production factories is a pain if they are next to the spaceport and you have a graphic image covering a large area. Cleans up the page
Make the ability to select a item and have it default as the selection in factories…currently if you select a new factory it works, but if you want to swap productions it defers back to whatever the factory is producing and you have to reselect your new production. Removes clicks
Make an option to multi-transfer items in spaceports/silos to multiple factories…I have 18 factories on my production planet, every time I change productions I have to reset my transfers to my factories 18 times…why not give us the ability to ship needed items to multiple places. Removes more clicks
Remove the expedition transfer timers…I have to wait 4h to transfer a second item from spaceport to a storage silo…undesirable.
Just my personal suggestions from my experience with PI.
For those pulling the bucket of tears on themselves from the tear bucket closet regarding mutated modules I can only say this.
Each module that is mutated, regardless of its bonuses and penalties is a Unique module. There will never be any copies of the mutated modules. there will never be any BPC’s of mutated module nor will there ever be any BPO’s of the mutated module.
The mutated module is even more Unique than the Capsuleer as the Capsuleer is able to clone themselves over and over again unlike the mutated module.
CCP, i love the new Abyss. Ok, i am running a Gila, but its a hell of fun running these sites.
But, cant the asteroid cluster not look like the asteroid fields in the abyss ? That would be great, Mining for weeks !
Love the Content, Love the Tragedy of losing ships ( i Lost 2 Moas in Level 1, and a Cerberus in level 2). that was annyoing. But it was the hard way to learn.
After switching to Gila, its easy to run.
Unluckily after the new drop balance, it looks like, that higher tier of filaments is dropping instead of the same level, what could be better if you want to farm it.

With regards to you latest Abyssal coercion: What is it now? The announcement says “expires on July 8th, 2018”. Ingame it says “Calm Gamma Filament 1 A gift from the Sisters of EVE to encourage exploration of the Abyss. 2018.07.07”.

When you show me you know what you’re doing and rebalance your npcs I’ll make use of this free filament and go all the way to tier 5 but when CCP Paradox fits a tracking computer on a gila on live stream and calls the minmatar logistics a huginn shows how much you all know about EVE Online ships therefore I can’t trust you lot to do proper balance.

It shows the disconnect and makes you wonder if balancing changes are based on those fits.
No wonder the Gila is so op. They fit mag stabs and tracking computers.
Yea Iv given eve a break playing other game’s, when auto cannons are still rubbish (becuase dps/tracking is super crap in falloff) after how many years and a gila can do 800-1k dps with perfect tracking at 80k’s with massive tank, I have given up hope of eve online ever being balanced.
Not to mention the Huge bs spawn’s that is only possible in dark sites or if your a gila pilot.
Into the Abyss: Lose 2B ship + 3B pod for nothing. Profit? Drop rate is ridiculously BAD!
Pity, whole Eve universe doesn’t look like in the Abyss.
Do higher tiers. I have made a couple bill a day running the higher tier sites.
I do, I risk my ship inside and outside, have to wait another 15 min to run next site cos of suspect timer and what I’ve got? One Raging Exotic Filament.

even though i’ve only been doing PI for a couple of years, i’m glad it has been looked at and changed. unfortunately, for me at least, the bad changes outweigh the good.
Unfortunately, that’s pretty much the entirety of CCP’S UI changes over the last…forever. 1 step forward, 2-5 steps back.
Do you remember when they were talking about how their testers were getting owned by T5s back in the early days of SiSi, when they were still super easy? It shouldn’t be surprising with the “balance” that comes outta there.

Love the expansion, only problem is the occasional internet disconnect causing expensive losses in abyssal space - wish there was a mechanism to deal with legit disconnects in abyssal space.

yay its time to reset my extractor heads.
if no interaction is needed to move individual extraction heads. this whole process could be dramatically simplified. Either a simple RESTART option for each plaent, or even a RESTART ALL for all the planets .
at the very least. get rid of the giant planet window, stop zooming in on the command center (nothing is done there) and save us some time.
