Talk about misleading, So come to find out apparently I am going to miss it by one day, when the entire time it was advertised as the 20th. Not only that, but the TIMER ON TOP even made it appear like I was one more day ahead than apparently I really was. Funny how it mysteriously goes from “2 days” to now hours left in a span of 24 hours. Sorry, but I specifically paid for OMEGA because this was advertised as the 20th; and I logged in every day for 15 days consecutively (my account is 15 days old) thinking I was getting the 1.1M SP. Yeah, not cool. /rant over

I’m bothered because i tought the event would end at the 20th of May and when i log on it shows that the event won’t last another day, like i planned it to get the 1.000.000 SP on the 20th and now i will not get it. Like wtf why do the poster say 2 - 20 if that day doesn’t count? if i go to a ■■■■■■■ Event with a poster with 2 - 20 i assumed that on the 20th i can ■■■■■■■ go inside. I still don’t understand it, but meh what can i do …

Or is it that it counts from the mid night in eve? Because if it is i can’t redeem the last day right now…
I logged on the 19th (eve). Tried again after 2400, still can’t redeem the last gift.
– Thanks to CCP for this celebratory event, and congrats for 16 great years.
– Respectfully note that announcements, blogs, etc., were not clear on the mechanics of event’s ending.
– Respectfully note that the countdown clock above the redeeming selection indicated more time than was actually available… for those using calendar for our location… when under one day that clock went to hours???
– What is done is done… please, next time be clearer in the communications?

So, yesterday at around 18:15 CEST I log on and claim my gift for the 15th day.
At the same time it says “18 hours left”.
So I’m thinking “cool, more than enough time for it to tick over past midnight and then I can claim my 16th and final day gift”
Now, 4 hours left of the campaign, and I still can’t claim the gift from the 16th day.
Are you really gonna cheat me out of the last day cause you’re… erhm… “stubborn” enough to go by “maintenance” instead of ACTUAL CALENDAR DAYS?!
If so, for future reference, communicate CLEARLY.
Cause atm, on your website it says that the celebration runs 2nd-20th and today is the 20th.

I am not complaining but I also have 1 gift left. I wanted to collect it today. However, as far as I understand after today’s DT the event is over and I won’t be able to get this 1kk sp. I would suggest to give a possibility to collect last day reward after today’s DT until the end of the day.

My heart goes out to all players who couldn’t get the gifts due to CCP’s unconventional Event timer.
I feel cheated of something that could have been easily avoided if the information provided by CCP was clear.
I wouldn’t not Omega this toon if I know I wouldn’t had the chance of enjoying the 1 mil sp. It’s a load of crap…but hey… that’s CCP.
-1 omega next month. Don’t see the reason to continue an omega subscription to a company that cannot even communicate clearly an event start / finish.

Don’t let this ‘usual’ CCP lack of care for its customers lead you to cancel - if you’re having fun, carry on, just be aware not to invest too much time & money (I’ve let all but one account lapse into alpha status) - Eve has always been dieing, but it’s starting to look less vigorous than it once did (give it another 5 years or so).
Jester summed it up nicely, EVE has become - Space EverQuest - sad, but true (his thread on reddit is worth reading in its entirety - there is a thread in general about it)
A large chunk of the enjoyment of EVE has nothing to do with CCP - it’s mumble and discord (and all our corp/alliance mates).
So does CCP ever comment on any of this? I am new to this game, and rather disappointed. I exclusively went OMEGA because by my math, which obviously is different then CCP math I was going to get 1 MIL SP.
I opened a ticket, I hope the rest of you do too…we’ll see if they “set it right.”
