[feature request) new drone computer system to auto recall drones

add a new drone computer system with option to auto recall drones
a new ship system for us who forget drones behind

when trying to warp or enter a gate

a popup window will appear with 2 options:

auto recalling drones
option 1 wait for drones to dock
option 2 abandon drones

So this is a module that tackles your own ship while your drones are out? Dangerous.

Personally I just pay attention and only warp out without my drones if it is too dangerous to wait for them.

Abandoned drones will be rehomed to prevent them from becoming rogue.

Please, no more pop-ups… You already get a warning if you warp without recovering your drones. Just hotkey launch/recall and you’re set.

Shift R. Takes all of 2 seconds…

Aura should pop up to ask you if you’re sure you haven’t forgot something…again

In addition to the flashing yellow box warning you already get and you probably disabled?

My sibling in yahweh you just hit shift+r when youre done with your drones, easy as pie

Welcome to Eve Hestore,

Just in the 2 years I have played, they added the flashing reminder, when you hit warp with drones out. Clicking that flashing reminder, cancels warp and retrieves the drones.

There are about only 2 instances where drones would be out.

  1. mining ore
  2. combat

In the event you are just mining, you should get in the habit of bookmarking the site location. Something that I have learned to do. Bookmarks allow you to return and scoop your drones to the drone bay or cargo bay.

In the occasion you are in combat or drawn into combat while your drones are out, it would be cheaper to abandon them than to lose a ship and all its fittings. However when combat is planned, you should use a bookmark to later salvage the combat site. Win or lose there will be something to salvage.

Sorry you got such an adverse reaction on your first and only post to these forums. I kind of recall my first post was a bit of a cold shoulder as it was ignored for weeks. Later I found my own solution to the issue.

Have fun!
