Gankers are not committed

Not bad you really did stirr up the hive so far. Next just tell them they are not real PvP-ers and throw in a Calm down ganker every now and then and you’re set. :smirk: :smiling_imp:

Instead of fixing ganking industry equipment and ships could be made cheaper.

For example jump freighter should only cost a couple million ISK and mining barges and their equipment could be made really cheap too. Even the T2 stuff for them.

There is cheap. A Venture is the cheapest you can get. Good vessel. Good align time. Some agents give it for free. How cheaper do you want?

Why does the Venture have a warp core stabilization bonus?

While this might occasionally be useful to warp away when NPCs disrupt your warp, it looks like an intentional defense mechanism against players to me. Designed for PvP.

Mind, I’m not saying the Venture is designed to fight in PvP or to win a fight in PvP (even though it’s more than capable of doing so in the hands of a capable pilot), I’m saying that the Venture is designed to be able to slip out of many PvP engagements.

It is designed to have a role in PvP engagements, just like all other ships in EVE.

By making mining barges and freighters and so on really expensive they are creating a perverse incentive to gank them

Barges aren’t expensive though, you must be thinking of Exhumers.

And yes, these ships follow the ‘high risk is high reward’ idea that you can find in many places in EVE online.

You seem to want reward without the risk. Why are you playing a game that rewards high risk?

Ganking creates an environment of high risk and low reward but making jump freighter, exhumer and so on an order of magnitudes cheaper the equation will become more balanced

Are you saying the rewards in high sec space are low?

Imagine how low it would be if everyone could haul and mine AFK there due to the lack of any player danger.

Gankers keep the environment in high sec somewhat rewarding for the players who pay attention.

Making the freighters and exhumers and so on significantly cheaper will not end ganking, but will make it less punishing and everyone wins?

Or you could just learn how to play the game

Or play a more accommodating and intriguing game instead like everyone else

Feel free to do that. Coming to a 20 year old game and demanding changes to fundamental game play just because you are not interested in learning how to play is a bit silly

People seem to think ganking adds intrigue but it practically just a joke and griefing

For example what was these guys suppoesed to do?

Skill issue

Please elaborate

Again, if they cared about learning the game they could prevent that. The fact that you just assume there is nothing they could have done already exposes the real issue: You are not interested how the game works. You don’t want to learn the game mechanics and strategies that would make your mining or hauling completely secure. Even though they literally boil down to picking the right ship in most circumstances.

Avoiding this situations is a big part of the game. Losing a ship is part of the learning experience. If you can’t accept that, then you will constantly suffer and instead of upping your game and learn how to deal with it just blame others or the game or CCP.

PREHAPS FILL HIS LOW SLOTS FOR STARTERS :joy:

What he too cheap to afford a third t2 module? That must require charging 2 brain cells together to think in a critical manner and that is simply too much work for a person likely worth trillions.

I mean these are clearly newbros trying to learn the game. Wouldn’t someone think of the children already!
