Ganking and Paying A Gank Fee / Ganking Permit

If you do this then I went every single player in EVE not to be able to dock in NPC stations unless they are in that NPC Corp.

I interpret this thread as more of a discussion rather then a Suggestion to change a player mechanic, as the only change OP has suggested is 2 lines out of a page of text. Topic has been moved to Crime & Punishment.

No. They can undock and can do other things in low sec while they are under criminal timer and with low sec status. Saying that the low sec status prevents them from doing some thing is delusional. For their activities they need to be docked anyway to get new ships. Have they have to look for targets themselves (bumping limited, for instance), it would be a problem. Hence the sec status is not a penalty and saying otherwise is delusional.

Not really. There is a big difference between a ganker and, for instance, low sec player: One of them destroys things primarily in low sec, the other primarily in high sec. The game already knows this information and can very easily determine by that data, the sec status of the player and the composition of the kill mail what a ganker is and who is not.

With the proliferation of structures itā€™s not a problem anyway as you can dock anywhere.

Then these people are dumb and can be ignored. Forcing gankers into citadels is one of the best ways to make their life harder by attacking their structures . As it was demonstrated in the past, you can bump gank squads out of docking range and destroy them. And tether is no difference from using an insta-undock from a station. Arguments that say otherwise are simply wrong.

lol a ganking permit? awesomeā€¦ that will just make it worse i thinkā€¦

That is kinda the problem with you carebears. If one is satisfied then the next comes and cries for more nerfs.

Gankers, WTs, the random guy in null or WH will all ā€œhideā€ in a station until they are going to fight or they donā€™t fight at all. And if you want to take away their docking rights at npc stations then players in npc corps should only be able to dock in their factions (gallente caldari) stations and be hostile to the enemy factions.

Another CODE. thread. I like the way you mix it up, kid.

Just another day in EVE.

There is nothing stopping you from hunting gankers when they undock from NPC stations. Insta-undocks can be probed down or roughly estimated, if they are even used.

They live and work in feckinā€™ hisec, besides how are they meant to get to lowsec while under a criminal timer when Concord blaps everything they undock in hisec?

Learn the game before you start making suggestions to change it, otherwise we will just assume you really are as dumb as your forum posting makes you look.

Even if he wants gankers to be forced to use structures, no oneā€™s going to fuckinā€™ attack them anyway. Hey and even IF thereā€™s people whoā€™d do that, Iā€™d just use someone elses structures and theyā€™d be shootinā€™ the wrong fuckinā€™ guyā€™s home!

just allow citadels to be anchored within 100 km of the gates and it will remove gate camping and gate ganking all togetherā€¦ lol

One of OPā€™s alts is taking part in the Grand Prix. He asked for a shuttle in local.

Why is flying smarter never an option?
