Competence is arbitrarily judgemental and doesnât explain the difference between âgoodâ and âbadâ pvp sufficiently to explain whether there is a difference between good and bad pvp.
I already made my explanation as simple as possible so as to be accessible to a wide audience, but apparently some people still miss out. No issue, just wire 500m ISK to my account for a consultancy engagement and I will go into as much detail as needed.
Thatâs how you define it and thereâs people who would agree with you. That does not change the fact that âgoodâ and âbadâ does not exist in the real world, outside of peoples heads.
People nowadays are using language wrong. They use words without thinking or actually understanding them. They use âgoodâ/âbadâ in ways that make it completely unclear what they are talking about and project their ideas of what âgoodâ/âbadâ is onto everyone else.
You have an idea of âgoodâ. Someone else comes and declares that itâs âbadâ. You two stupidly argue around about the reasons, believing that you must be ârightâ, which inevitably means that the other guy must be âwrongâ.
Itâs crazily retarded to have such conversations because what is being argued about is which ones idea of imaginary âgoodâ/âbadâ is better. Itâs a big part of the reason why people donât get along with each other, why people are divided in general and why horrible groups like SJW are having such a huge fanbase.
The amount of stupid in this behaviour is beyond acceptable, yet it is the norm.
In regards to your example:
Reality is that there are competent players and there are incompetent players. They are not âgoodâ or âbadâ, theyâre competent or incompetent. The reason why this is so, and not how most people believe it to be, is because âgoodâ/âbadâ does not describe reality while âcompetentâ/âincompetentâ does.
Go argue with science, scientists and philosophers instead.
Come up to our level, itâs much better than down there with all the peasants who abuse language, their brains and themselves in the most primitive of ways.
How about a special event (alike Burn Jita) but everywhere in high sec. Ask people to join your ranks, and give back a percentage of the loot (at the end of the party ). The goal is to get people to learn about this type of pvp, and maybe get a few new recruits?
I was trying to get around the many threads (as of late) for âBumper + Flagâ, then I thought maybe Gankers could make Bumper Stickers (with some wordings) and give away as merchandise. Anyhow o7
Just now thinking, maybe good to implement some kind of âborder feeâ for any ship could be good business - not just mining, everyone else. Donât be upset miners/pveâers I just like a challenge now and then I remember âsuddenly ninjasâ going into mission sites and asking ransom etc.
Warp gates between systems should be player constructed and destructible. Want to live in isolation? Then close the gates! Or open them up to free trade and collect taxes!
What is the procedure and requirements for a corp to join CODE?
Maybe you need to boost your numbers, your impact on mining seems to be negligible as all high sec is still filled with minersâŚ
