I should point out that the fun of avoiding being ganked is often balanced off against the sheer amount of time and effort required, whereas a player like me can find it OK, many don’t.

The trouble with not being ganked is the gank avoider or escaper is the only one who knows about it. You can slip past the gankers 1000 times and can have some personal pride in doing so, but nobody else knows or remembers. BUT…be caught out just once, and someone has a permanent kill record to gloat over.

Uedama has been busy with ganks for the last few days. it looks more like a low-sec system. but the op raised a good point here. I am wondering if CCP could implement some kind of dynamic security system and temporarily increase certain systems security status. like raise uedama during real life holydays or something like that.
