Well right now is shortage phase - from what i hear the rocks pop too fast for even one rorqual to be worth using other than boosting.
So any Multiboxer might as well bring an Orca and five Hulks and still make much more ore than any solo pilot or not? And i dont see that being different after the ‘distribution phase’ goes into effect no matther how this might look - Rorquals might fall out of use but still for everyone, not just for multiboxers?
One spod rock off an enormous mining anomaly fit (with room to spare) into the hold of my hulk and took exactly 90 seconds to delete from the field.
For comparison purposes, this same rock would have been 80 times bigger last week and kept a rorqual using 5 excavators occupied for an hour or so.

Wich makes sense i guess if they want the Rorq to be a boosting ship only as it was intended at some point then this is a reasonable way of doing it. Booster can stay sieged in the middle of the belt and Hulks gobble up the ore but moving the thing next to every small rock would be a waste of time.
And after shortage phase simply have much more of the smaller rocks.
But still nothing that would make multi boxing unviable?
Look, you and @Zuccini_Vaselini kid can cry all you guys want. I’ve seen this ■■■■ happen all over the last four times mining was nerfed either directly or tangentially.
Each time, I made a cool 20b just off profits by flipping Rorquals from kids who cried the end of days and bought them right back from me no more than two weeks later when they realized it wasn’t as bad as their thought.
I don’t care what you guys do personally. What I do care about is this absolutely pants on head retarded “the world is gonna end” type of panicking over a change that doesn’t impact you at all.

I like being able to buy stuff so it kind of might have an impact on my play… 
And not crying, just wondering whats really the deal here and what the end result is supposed to be. Im still not buying that this will somehow make multiboxing less viable and doupt that that’s really what CCP has in mind here.

No i didn’t. Im wondering if this might be one of CCPs goals - given that small rocks like they have now are bad for Rorqs due to having to move around too much. And this would be a scenario that makes Rorquals bad for everyone but people who use them as boosters if it stays like that after the shortage phase.
If instead rocks get bigger again but overall less available the market has to change - less big and more smaller hulls being built?
How would the final tweaking have to look in order to make selective only multiboxing less attractive? Enough rocks but all over small belts?
CCP really doesn’t give enough info here what they’re really aiming for and how they hope to achieve it in the end. Thats what annoys me.
