GM’s are able to put things in people’s hangars, so this might fall in your scope. I don’t know if the question counts as spicy… or weird. … Considering the recent C.O.W. mining fleet I’m asking for a friend…
If there is Wheat and Livestock in a hangar…
… and my friend (not me) comes back in a few weeks, looks in his hangar and sees less Wheat and more Livestock… along with Dairy Products and Fertilizer (lets just call it that for now) …
… would it be the handiwork of some prankster GM’s? … And will the station BOB’s clean up the “fertilizer”? Should I re-direct these question to the FCCP guy that was making all the bovine puns in the stream, or the one that drank all the milk?
My Questions in particular will be focused around something specific.
Will missions get a more careful modernization and coding look over? We are having a weird set of problems cropping up recently. We have Convoy missions…that plainly say in their script. We only need 10 militants in our cargo hold…but the mission will not complete until you pick up 20 militants…spread over two wrecks. So until you pick up that second militant set of 10. [20 total although you only need 10…you can’t do mission turn ins] This has been a very painful point that the campaign agent system has revealed.
And will anything be done with progression problems? Currently the game gives access to alot of weapons and ammo at Level 1 skills. [Example Turrets…Basic/T1/ Factional/ Officer all unlock at Lv 1 skills] Where as you would think…training would have little rewards like oh…Lv2 unlocks meta/named weapons…Lv 3 factional…Lv 4/5 Officer mods. This would help people feel like they are moving down a training que and getting rewarded with more than a fractional “upgrade” to their stats.
I think it will help the onboarding process with newer players.
Spend some time in the help channels, particularly “rookie help” and chat with new players there.
And keep doing that even after gm-week whenever there’s a bit of time between tickets, it’s always appreciated, even more when there’s no isd around.
Probably, you get to see some of the frequent and very annoying isk-sellers spam there, so you can insta-ban them.
Small feedback to gm’s in general when you appear in chat. Your text is dark red, same as all those “disconnected from chat server”, “reconnected to chat server”. It would be clearer if your text in chat isn’t so dark. That probably can’t be so impossible for a dev to fix in 3 minutes, just change some value in a database table from #700000 to #ff0000.
Subject: Suggestions for Game Improvements and Quality of Life Updates
Here are a few suggestions for improvement:
Search Function for Corporation/Alliance Applications
We are a newly formed, small alliance. We have noticed that when other small corporations try to apply to join us, there is no search function available in the recruitment interface. Players are forced to manually scroll through multiple pages and look very carefully to find us. When can we expect a search feature to be added to make this process more user-friendly?
More Granular Categories in Overview Settings
Currently, the Overview settings only offer very broad categories. When will more specific ship classifications be added? For instance, Pirate Faction ships are currently lumped into general categories, even though their mechanics and combat roles are highly unique and deserve their own dedicated category for easier identification.
Introduction of “Slot Conversion” Modules
As we know, High slots act as 3-point sockets, Medium slots as 2-point, and Low slots as 1-point. I suggest introducing a new type of module that allows players to dynamically convert these slots. For example:
Combine two 1-point slots into one 2-point (Medium) slot.
Combine three 1-point slots into one 3-point (High) slot.
Combine one 1-point and one 2-point slot into one 3-point (High) slot.
Conversely, allow splitting: one 3-point slot can be split into three 1-point slots (or one 1-point + one 2-point), and one 2-point slot can be split into two 1-point slots.
Limitation: To maintain balance, the total number of any specific slot type on a single ship should not exceed 8.
This mechanic would introduce much more variety to battlefield fittings, add unpredictability to combat outcomes, and greatly enhance the strategic depth and fun of the game.
Some ship designs are highly unique, but due to their narrow applications and high costs, they suffer from very low usage rates. Prime examples include Pirate Faction ships like the Rattlesnake and Barghest.
I suggest introducing a dynamic pricing/exchange mechanism for key manufacturing components based on a ship’s popularity.
How it would work:
If a specific ship’s field presence or usage rate drops below a certain threshold, the materials or components required to manufacture it would become cheaper or easier to acquire (e.g., through a favorable exchange rate).
The Goal:
This economic feedback loop would naturally incentivize players to experiment with and increase the usage of these underutilized hulls. Ultimately, this would help balance the game’s meta, preventing ships from becoming either too niche/obsolete or overwhelmingly dominant.
Here are a few suggestions regarding naming overlaps in the game:
Amarr T2 Command Carrier vs. T2 Command Ship
There is a naming overlap (or confusion) between the Amarr T2 Command Carrier and the Amarr T2 Command Ship. I suggest renaming one of them to the “Salvation-class” (救难级) to provide a clearer distinction between the two hull types.
“Archon” Carrier vs. “Archon” Drone
The “Archon” Command Carrier and the “Archon” Heavy Assault Drone currently share the exact same name, which can easily cause confusion in fleet communication or market searches. I suggest renaming one of them to the “Overlord-class” (领主级) to resolve this duplication.

Q: Did Fenris think about player-based mission agents? It would also be great to have the ability to create our own mission agents for a corporation. The current freelance jobs system doesn’t really work for that. I’d like something more similar to the latest story campaign - something interesting, more like a text-based quest, and different from just “bring me 10k tritanium” or “go kill some pirates over there”
Yes, I’m pretty sure it was being considered back when Upwell Structures were designed and it apparently go cut for one or another reason - I assume it was too much work. That is why the Structure Mission Network exist but those were never removed from manufacturing costs of structures, FC probably think there may come a time where they’ll add something mission related.
Does CCP plan to introduce a permanent, systemic mechanic to counter stagnation in null‑sec, one that naturally enforces territorial dynamism (economic, logistical, or population‑based) without relying on manual interventions, seasonal events, or cyclical nerfs?
I’ve been wondering about something: if I run multiple characters for production, but the Omega status of some accounts expires mid-production and they revert to Alpha accounts without my awareness, would continuing production in this case count as a violation of the User Agreement?
I had my account suspended for 3 days before for exactly this reason, and it has been bugging me ever since — so much so that I’ve vowed never to spend real money on any in-game items again.
What’s the status of the Aura AI roll-out? (On a few clients, I’ve seen the icon and saw it illuminated. Yet, clicking it had no visible effect. So, I’ve removed the icon from the Neocomm bar.
Why, when I search for Moth Apis or Rogue Drones in the client “Search for anything”" field, do I see “0 results”?
When may I befriend and adopt a Moth Apis as an emotional support drone?
Thank you and welcome back to the forums (“wave It’s been a while since we’ve seen GM Goat — their last post was 5 years ago.”
