the boss does not warp in, it appears and is lockable as soon.
no I donāt see it being top damage when ive killed all but the boss and guy in a nado comes in and alphas it and runs off, ive gone suspect more than once to get my advanced accels that drop from them and I didnāt get credit for the special guest killing.

Then he got alpha + top damage, not unlikely. So you just donāt apply damage fast enough.

Itās not lag, they are able to lock and attack you before you can even āstartā locking them when they warp back in. NPC are cheating.

Thats incorrect, loot and credit for the kill is given to the person who deals the final blow to a npc, attacking first and top damage are totally irrelevant.

If it would be final blow, I would be able to shot the NPC only when itās almost dead and get the kill. As this never works, please try out before you tell this stuff and get proof right here with a video.

You get proof, Iāve been doing exactly this for ages. And yes, all I need is the final shot, I can do 20 damage and the other guy can do 20000, it doesnāt matter as long as the 20 damage kills it.

not in my experience
ive never lost loot to a ship that deals less damage than me
only lost loot to a macharial on a bs and a vargur with sebos
i have a higher rof than both of trhose too so it seems unlikely they would get the last shot

Iāve stolen loot using an alpha strike dessie over a paladin when the rat was at 2% hp. Hell Iāve been doing it all yesterday in the gala sites with a nado.

Just record a video, and we are fine. I know what you are doing, the Nado has so much Alpha damage, that it is also top damage compared to all the other shooters on field. Relative top damage not absolute, so if 10 people shoot an NPC, I could be able to claim it with just a small amount myself. Happend to me.
ā ā ā ā it, just to prove you wrong, I will make the damn video. I think you should have to be the one to put in the extra work, especially since you will just refute the video. But maybe it will save a new player the hassle. It will be posted here later on Monday when Iām off work.

Thanks, we will see. BTW, Iāve finished a dozen NPCs from other people warped out which were almost dead and never claimed the wreck, but the other guy.
Iāve had nothing but the opposite experience, and always been able to steal the kill unless I miscalculated the remaining HP.

I like this event. I actually lost a ship at the beginning due to overconfidence. I slacked off and there it went ā¦
Fortunately the booster farm is great and I have already made the costs back several times over with plenty of time left in the event to get boosters all the way to expiration date for all my toons.
