Character corporation History ESI endpoint has been disabled by CCP. Therefore, character corporation histories cannot be updated. Join history, leave history, etc cannot be updated until the endpoint has been re-enabled.

For the pilot in your last it shows zero history.

As for the corporate history stuff unfortunately some weeks ago or such CCP disabled the ESI endpoint because it was overloaded by one of the users and it seems they haven’t re-enabled since then. Kinda odd they don’t keep logs of who uses the endpoint to know who to ban or whose access to disable or something. You should be able to look up that info in-game though.

Although maybe this is another case of them using something as an excuse to justify something they don’t want to openly admit so who knows what the truth of the matter actually is.

Either way as noted in my first paragraph you can still look up the more important data which is their killboard through the link on their EveWho profile.

Can we get an honest CCP response on the state of the ESI?

I’d put good money on ESI being sunsetted/deallocated resources as it’s due to be replaced Soon:tm: by a Quasar/gRPC based API. It’s not even a case of good/bad code at this point, it’s about justifying spend on a mostly-retired project with imminent replacement on the horizon. Rest in pepperonis ESI, we hardly knew ye. Don’t hold your breath for anything other than quick easy fixes, the new faction warfare API should’ve made it clear that ESI is not being touched anymore unless they absolutely…
