Sure, it’s not a forum rule, it’s a lot more important than a forum rule. It’s a basic part of decency in discussion when making a claim. Pretending to not know about it, or worse, actually not knowing about it, says a lot about how you approach discussions, and it would really really help you to make sensible use of it.
Sure it can be abused, but in this case when calling a specific group of players cheaters asking for some actually related proof is quite appropriate and relevant.
