How do I prevent my orca getting ganked?

yes i have you solution, when your orca is used, 2 things 1 orbit the roids u want to mine a 2500 m then use drones to mine with,( set up your drones hot keys) l to launch, f to salvage or fight and r to return to the drone bay.
the other thing is fit a faction cloaking device, you see local spike u hit r, count to 3 and cloak .
this leads to drones in orca and orca hidden then you wait. resume normal ops when you think local is ready. : )
GoodLuck and have some fun.

What on earth do you think gankers’ scouts/looters/warp-in alts are up to while you are faffing about with all that?

Want to learn how to avoid ganks? Make an alt and go learn to do it, once you know how it works and how targets are selected and what kind of preparations it requires you also know how to avoid them.

Thats why i said outside of that smash the orcas, new players arent flyjng them unless they are wallet warriors

In Career/Rookie systems it only applies to players under 30 days old. In SOE Arc systems, like Hek I would say it only applies against players running SOE Arc, which is kinda stupid as ganker can’t really know.

Either way, pilot flying Orca who is not even 30 days old is most likely an alt of the veteran against who this protection doesn’t apply either.

Read my comment above you damn.

Sorry before I finish my reply there is 50 new posts… Can’t really keep up these days with the spam of gank-haters.

Then your no better than them, I learnt how to avoid without ganking any innocent pilot.

Haha, you’re that guy that embarrassed himself on talking in stations right?

Well not sure if he’s weak but he is a quiter. The Bandit princess in her blog said he reached his Orca kill target, so that’s over. Must be hard to pay subs and supply ships to gank with. They are not like gankers of old that ganked on a wim without a care in the world.

@Wrathful_Hawk this is not hateless problem it’s you killing Orcas, it’s a shameful act of a bitter pilot that dislikes what other pilots do, so he tries to blame his action on others, even Aiko sounds more sincere than you as to why she kills randoms

A deadspace active shield rep tank is probably your best bet. Get T2 rigs too, and load up on nano fiber for that fast align time.

Define “better”, please don’t tell me you’re actually pretending anything like that matters. It’s a pvp game, no one is innocent and everyone’s a target. Beyond that, taking out the competition is just good business.

Eve is more than just jumping into a ship and killing, null worked it out, low sec worked it out, this game is people power, most of the gankers are null sec alts you know that right?

If people work together they can end all the problems this thread talks about and eve will still be a target rich environment.

But no people ask ccp to make it safe instead

Pretty tough talk from someone who runs a group that almost exclusively flies in ■■■■-fit Slashers to leech onto CONCORD kill mails.

Our slahers are just our cheap fast tackle, you know that.

Just out of interest what would you use in our position, slasher for it’s insanelock speed and low skills is what we found works great with dps backup

Sounds like HateLess to a tee.

No, actually I don’t. Your kill board makes it pretty evident that all you people fly is garbage T1 frigates to minimize your loss values.

Here you are making fun of a player who’s spent tens of billions of ISK on something like 1,600 polarized bombers because apparently that’s “not enough” to prove that he’s dedicated for some reason. Meanwhile, this is a player who’s more skilled than your entire member base combined, and has dedicated more resources to a month-long op than all of you will see in your entire EVE lifetimes.

It’s just so super-pathetic when you talk so much ■■■■ without being able to back it up at all.

That’s a lot of rambling that has nothing to do with what I said. It’s also a whole lot of straw manning and blind raging.

EVE is PVP in all its facets and that includes miners. It could be trying to get the best resources at the best location, it could be producing at the lowest cost, it could be selling at the best locations and prices. And in all those steps you are competing against other players, competitors, and you’re taking them out as much as you can. Ores you mine can’t be mined by others, products you sell won’t be sold by others.

Taking out and crippling the competition is just a very logical step in that and if you’re not some weirdo hippie you’d know that IRL this happens all day every day. Winning and gaining comes at the cost of others, sometimes directly and sometimes indirectly.

Now if you state that there are some people, and thus players, who take it all a wee bit too far and it all becomes a little bit creepy and terrible then you’re completely correct. Lots of the ganking rhetoric is not only incredibly cringe, it’s also copy/paste boring. But that has nothing to do with my suggestion that to learn how to avoid ganking, the best solution is to learn how to gank (and take out some of your competition in the process).

In short: don’t be a larping dumbass.

Oh I’m all for taking out the competition, that’s what eves about, but it’s the whining on the forums from the very people who get ganked and in the next instance gank other miners because they want the ore, the worst area for this is the ice miners :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Just to be clear I’m not making fun of him, he has a right to gank but implying that hateless is the problem and he is only doing it to make him start up his streams is really a bit off.

So as we have many new low skilled players what should our fast tackle be, we really do fly it as we found it can catch every thing other than pods
