No it is not pvp, when you play an online game that has 2 different servers pvp server and pve server, by joining the pve server does that mean you cannot type hello to anyone? ofc not.

I define trolling as people endlessly posting threads about how to ‘define’ ( or rather re-define ) things because they don’t like the definitions that have existed for 20 years.

That is a sub species of troll, the whinotroll
They tend to have an adverse reaction to PvP
Their natural habitat is highsec, but have beenseen in null sec, hanging around in large groups, with a compulsion to hit the F1 key at anything that isn’t blue. On the first sign of danger , though, the natural instinct of the null sec whinotrolls is to scurry to the nearest station , until they can gather in sufficently large numbers to massively overwhelm the invader by rapidly thumping their F1 Keys.

PVP Isn’t really a word so that’ll be defined as abbreviation.
All these words and abbreviations should be put under one definition called content. Content is what we want and what we, as Eve players, create.
Theres no point in trying to find some greater meaning for all of this. Now you should press the undock aka create content button and go save mike. #SaveMike

Any number of gankers can participate in PvP, and it does NOT have to be a fair situation.

“I” define ganking, pvp and trolling as EVE Online.
I just do not get the confusion that others seem to have.
Posting in the forums is the same as undocking in game. You consent to PVP.
