How do you define ganking, pvp and trolling

I’d argue ganking is griefing if it’s just for shits and giggles. However, I don’t think most gankers do it for shits and giggles. There is a strong profit incentive, which makes it a career just as any other. It’s a career that has a lot of salt involved, so much so that I’m surprised people aren’t going through a keyboard a month, but it’s a career nonetheless.

but why exactly is it griefing if it is for fun? it is not to make someone sad, which would be actual griefing imo

Most people who grief do it because they’re bored and they’re unwilling to play the game as intended. Or out of sheer spite.

how is a sandbox intended to be played in your oppinion?

However you want. Sure, I don’t like gankers, but that’s because I find them to be very self adsorbed. At the end of the day, I couldn’t care less what happens to internet spaceships, sure it sucks, but it’s not like you can’t just grind up to get a new ship. There’s a reason one of the biggest rules in EVE is don’t fly it if you can’t afford to replace it. It’s a sandbox, not a linear game.

I’m not a ganker, but when I kill other players, I’m doing it for the sole purpose of experiencing massive enjoyment from their suffering. I’m doing it purely for my entertainment; they exist only to fulfill my desires. And when they lose their ships, I derive nearly sexual pleasure from the grief and anger they experience.

Oh, but you do !!!

So your here again with the same story , well I’m not a ganker and as someone said we have plenty of notice and warning about being ganked be it in high sec , low sec and null. If people bother it looks and use tools available.

As you call it being ganked is just being killed and many just try and cover up their own failings by saying oh I was ganked, if your a gank victim it really means you failed in some way .

I remember my time in low security space , in them days the insult was blob, oh you guys don’t play fair, you bring a blob.

What they are in fact saying , they got out maneuvered , out scouted , and out played .

They lost and try to play it down just as gank victims say oh I was ganked , eve is like no other game where real loss is a thing , you either learn from a loss or wine on the forums to get the game changed because you suck at the game.

Eve is working as intended…

(Ps I know you don’t know me and may say I’m a ganker alt but many here can vouch as to my anti-gank standing .)

So you admit it…

Nice edit

Btw this is how you get gankers to not answer a post , not by forum baiting them , even Aiko could only say the minimum because see can’t help her self and would never agree with an anti-pirate

All ganking is PvP but not all PvP is ganking.

Pull the other one, has bells on it.

They are also ganker alts

Now what do the New Eden Poncy Force do when they not ganking retrievers ?

They gang bang newbies

Well, this is the second time you’ve said this, so either you’re trying to find a larger audience for your jokes or you think that saying the same thing twice will somehow give it a bigger impact. Either way, it’s not funny and yes, I know, I don’t like you either. We’ve been over this

That’s not a gank , that was someone who was happy to PvP because of the kill right , just doing what needs to be done.
