I can accept fun as a motive for ganking doesent mean I like them heres how I think about ganked while mining grifer or fun. Gas huffing fun, profit or grefier, ganked by gate ganker profit or grefier.
Hey…I just spent a whole hour mining and not a single ganker showed up in the system in that entire time. And even if they had…because of the way I mine they would not have got me. People make such a fuss over something that is sooo easy to avoid.

I must admit I have only been ganked in highsec once and I was mining I think i was only a week ond chater at the time and I was killed by a pvper aiming for noob miners
Hold on, we might be on the verge of a breakthrough here. He was mining in a system without gankers….yes go on……he used an appropriate ship and fittings……ok ok……he wasn’t ganked and had a comfortable time mining…….what could the take away be here? You are so close!

ok some busness tycon may have been able to make the work put a anthor and compress the ore or somthing but I am talking about the avreage miner the guy who is not extremy rich and not the head of a 20 person corp that can defend a stucksure in low sec
The standard defensive fit for a procurer is a full t2 fit but no tanking or defense mods. This is really good as returns you to your home station much faster.
You don’t need an athanor to compress ore or gas. The porpoise in your friend. Also I have compressed thousands of units of ore in hi sec at public athanors. They are literally everywhere. It’s like you aren’t even trying to play the game, just whine about how you can’t.
Also I feel like you are starting to catch a glimpse of the fact that hi sec mining at a small scale as a solo player isn’t as profitable as you would like it to be. Maybe, just maybe, there are are other game styles that are more profitable you might enjoy? C1-3 gas huffing in a venture is extremely profitable by the way.
ok let me make this clear to you if youre in a un popualted low sec their are no anthors their might not even be a station and let me remind mienr have to make a profit they cant doo that if the nearst station they can compress ore is 4 jumps away and then they have to worroy about getting past gankers and I already gas huff
So your complaint is that you are living in low sec, without concord protection, where other corps already live and mine, and you can’t freely take their ore that they protect and use to fund their corps? Ok….
There are hundreds of systems where I know no gankers will be. And you don’t actually have to go to the far flung corners of Eve to find many of them.
What’s more, if you mine from the outside of the belt, away from the belt normal landing point, then any random gankers warping to the belt will be too far away when they arrive to warp scram you. The only way round that the gankers have is to place bookmarks at key belt locations, but even then they’d be relying on chance.
The third thing is to watch out for random ‘innocent’ people creeping up on you…as that’s the method gankers most often use. That ‘innocent’ ship will actually be a ‘warp in’ point for the gank fleet. So…don’t let any random dude get within 15km or so.
See…armed with just a few bits of info you reduce your chance of being ganked by 90% or more, and that’s before you’ve even added extra tank.
I’m in a metamorphosis state…who knows what will emerge.

All I know, is if you gank in game, that means your are a psychopath in real life that enjoy controlling other people’s emotions and forcing them to feel bad, angry, upset and powerless, because as we all know, people are, in fact, unable to control their own emotions and are completely dictated by the whims of psychopath gankers.
