How to get more people to play eve

Quoting this so hard.

What does CODE. have to do with the retention rate and what is your evidence for it?

I’ve come to expect certain players to make-up ‘facts’ and disingenuous ‘think of the children’ arguments to further their agenda.

Lol, really? Because I pointed out your horrible comparison of an event in a computer game with torture?

It just sounds more like you try to avoid the question because I caught you once again making a completely baseless assumption.

EL is just another ‘CODE is the route of all evil in EVE’ believer…best to ignore.

Because you manufactured a different meaning by selective quoting, then triggered on your own lie.

Get recruit a friend to work. Cannot get a link, it goes to a dead page.

I would want things to be fairer in hs, not quite safer; when i first started we had a lot of fun in hs but many were still training skills - now newbros are accosted by 150mil sp toons with several logi alts and a very good knowledge of highsec mechanics, which isnt fun to come up against; if however wardecks had been made more towards skill based decs (so the sp mathes more or less) that i believe would have been more fun and informative at the very least.

I dont think they should have gotten rid of neutral rr altogether either tbvh just some harsher sec hits, some argue that this would achieve very little but having to fly your logi toon to lowsec after every 4 or 5 fights i believe would reduce the impact these have had.

After alls said and done id happily have highsec back the way it was without the crimewatch changes but back then, people were not so used to the mechanics and so well set up.

In regards to CODE and other similar entities i would likely have a similar sort of thing a scaling faction and security status that over time even the factions should grow intollerent of such behaviour, banning certain prolific pirates from docking and hunting them down whenever they are in system. Tbh, that should really be normal shouldnt it.

Ganking newbros in starter systems i will never suggest is acceptable on any level, and yes, some do it.

Could you start a list?

You’re a wannabe-intellectual and you seriously fail at that.

Goody! Sorry, but too many people make too many claims and some claims need to be proven.

Did you petition him? Though it’s likely it already got reviewed by a GM. It does not go un-noticed when something happens in starter systems. On new chars I sometimes even got contacted by a GM (I think it was Nyx?), when he thought I was having problems with something. He probably saw me doing nothing.

We still can’t say that it’s actually rookie griefing that’s happening.
I think that, if he’s not banned, he probably wasn’t griefing.
We can’t even tell if he shoved him some money over.

That’s the big problem with calling it “griefing”. It’s not always griefing. There were times when noobs got shot a lot more and no one cared, because it was actually “recruiting by shooting” aka can-flipping.

i think that was his last kill and he’s likely moved onto another alpha now.

Looking at his kb griefing is the only way i can describe what i see.

i miss can flipping…

i dont think so, he was asking for 10 mil permit money in local…

From a toon mining in a venture barely two weeks old…

tbh, i dont think wade is firing on all cylinders if you know what i mean…

This is already against the TOS, so I don’t see the point. If you do it you will be banned and rightfully so.

Yeah, and NPC pirates should hotdrop cariers on mission runners, because why would they let themselves slaughter by the thousands and not get intolerant by such behavior and not respond?

Or do we only care about the “NPC consistency” when it would be convenient if they act against players we don’t like?

Actually the NPC Facpo are already hunting CODE. down if they are under a certain sec status. So fixed?

Yeah, but that would be an incredible waste of time. I think it is pretty obvious to everyone that this person doesn’t backup anything at all.

Stop the ganking reason i have given eve up, ganking i will try and explaine a small example me in a VNI and 8 hurricans cyno in when im minding my own trying to make isk this has happened so many times i think off all my deaths only one or 2 deaths where like me vs 1 or 2 which im cool with but the rest where over kill and i was geared up for ratting etc in a 1 man Corp to try and build a new corp up to make eve a better game for myself and others as more options mean more pvp and i was fed up with the bull crap from these big corps/alliances bullying new players thats another topic any way. Have a option if you are not in a massive corp to want to be able to try and settle roots in null space with out the option of getting blown up or ganked 24/7 by twats in dreads and alike. The game has no player retention high sec is lets be honest ■■■■ if you make anything good in highsec the chances are twats will gank you undocking or at a gate, null sec and low sec are gate camped to ■■■■ and no good for a solo player to be honest. So imo make it so if you have under x amount of players you can have the option to pvp or not and have a space as good as null that you can start from NPC null is not worh a crap.
And the ganking from stations is a joke any alpha with low skill can do this in a tornado and alike also make it so there is a safe zone around a station if you are in a small corp who dont have accesses to jump ships or a market. Small corps starting out need these major NPC stations to live but cant because of these twats. To be frank i give zero shits if you disagree with these, as i dont play the game no more because of these reasons. Me and my brother and a few others have quit and its a shame as my brother was a 12 year old account who was just a builder and could build all ships quick and structures with over 100 mill skill points and myself only 15mil but had enough boosters to go over 50-60mil and a few friends on par with my brothers toon.

if they did that i might actually feel more inclined to do more missions but that sort of dynamic npc behaviour should happen in null and lowsec imo, probably a bit more often and not solo.

and no, not really; its still fairly easy to operate in the same system despite having a criminal status. Did you not know?

thats not ganking, thats you ratting in dangerous space and not paying attention.

With you around? Not and option indeed.
