Nice post, except for this bit. EVE players don’t actually do this. It only seems so because it’s the standard “bittervet response” to any attempt at constructive discussion on a wide range of topics.
The whole “biitervet narrative” was a collection of transparent lies supported by repetition and stridency rather than rational argument when I was first exposed to it around ten years ago. If anything, it’s gotten worse since then.
The counter-argument is simple and irrefutable: EVE isn’t perfect. Improvement is possible.
Not even close of making enough profit regarding the pearl abyss demands of 400 millions in the next years.
You can sweettalk and throw it around as you like but ONLY the mainstream will create this much money…
The consequence would be a closed server so we have to decide what is more important, the survival of the game or a consistent game like we did for 15 years.
I would choose the survival and reconstruction of the game.
In Rust you can set up your own private server and set all rules as you want. That is degree of dreedom Eve do not have. That is great advanage over Eve and reason why new gamers go to Rust not Eve. Anyone can set up server and do not have to listen veterans “How to play Rust/Eve”
Links or it didn’t happen, 400(ish million) was the purchase price including a bonus; no details were revealed on what Pearl Abyss expect in order for CCP to earn the bonus, or what they expect in the future.
You keep claiming to represent people or have their support, yet we have no one’s word for it but your own.
You will not bring me to search a threat of 1000+ posts for this…do it yourself…i claim it to be true,if you do not believe me proof me wrong…but i doubt you will…
As the person making the initial claim, the burden of proof is on you.
Burden of proof: When two parties are in a discussion and one makes a claim that the other disputes, the one who makes the claim typically has a burden of proof to justify or substantiate that claim especially when it challenges a perceived status quo .[1] This is also stated in Hitchens’s razor. Carl Sagan proposed a related criterion, the Sagan standard, “extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence”.[[2]]
You made the claim, without any evidence. I can thus dismiss it without evidence.
If such a thing was true there would be far more discussion about it on the forums.
I just said that I’d be interested in seeing what those demands are. I used different words but the meaning is the same.
As I know of no such source for their demands I’m asking you where to find them; as you claim to have knowledge that isn’t known by others, including myself.
You’re making the claim that their demands are publicly available, it is commonly accepted that the maker of a claim is the one that provides a case for it, in this case a post in a thread that supposedly lays out the demands that PA expect to be fulfilled by their purchase of CCP, expected rewards and demands being essentially the same thing.
Without that you have nothing.
You’re right in that I’m not going to search the thread you mentioned, it’s a pointless exercise because if such a thing had been posted you can be damn sure that we wouldn’t be speculating about what PA want from CCP; because we’d know, for a fact.
Proof me wrong
Sorry you can’t prove that something doesn’t exist, only that it does. See scientific method vs the existence of god.
There’s evidence of absence, as in the post you claim exists doesn’t actually appear to; it’s either that or both my googlefu and forumsearchfu are woefully lacking.
The former is far more likely than the latter as the content of the post that you claim exists isn’t the subject of hot debate.
“The earth is flat! There is unmistakable proof of this being the truth. Everyone who believes earth is a globe needs to wake up.”
“Do you have any proof that the earth is flat?”
“If you do not believe me, prove me wrong! I don’t have to prove anything to you. I don’t have the time to produce the necessary experiments. However, the earth is flat. Many people agree with me. Prove me wrong, but I doubt you will succeed.’”
The scientific illiteracy of people is, in my opinion, starting to be a rather serious issue affecting our societies. If only it was happening on these forums, I wouldn’t give it a thought. However, this kind of thinking and reasoning, seems to be a trending way for people to argue about stuff.

Combined with the politician like deflection and sidestepping it’s almost like witnessing a sentient hairpiece, with a digitally challenged orange life support system attached, in action.
I’ll tell you a big secert NO MATTER WHAT YOU THINK IT HAPPEN and you’re not at all important/relevan in all this, you are just one customer, not best one, but when better customers come ingame ccp will get rid of you.
