For accounting / legal reasons they can’t sell ingame currency against RL money. That’s why there’s PLEX, an intermediate step. I don’t remember the details but this was explained some time ago.
Buying items directly would mess up the game economy.
I didn’t say I want them to give me in game money, did you even read what I wrote? I said I dont want to trade with any one, I want to buy it all in the cash shop and skip trading completely. There are plenty of games that sell in game items for money and these guys do sell ingame ships for money just crappy ones. Everything should be in the cash shop for purchase, including full built rigged and equipped ship.
I dont want them to make it so the cash shop items are better than something some one can slave away and make in-game after 4000 hours of mindless grinding and trading. I just don’t want any part of it and I want to skip it completely with when I lose my ship bam 20 bucks new ship all equipped and rdy to go, not from some player who made it, generated out of thin computer air.
I agree, I can’t even imagine how big the inflation will be. maybe a Rifter would cost millions to buy on market, and u only need $1 to buy 100 Rifters in the store.

Eve’s economy is one of the distinctive features of this MMO compared to most of the other games in the market. That’s the main reason they have not done what you said.

Its not distinct lol, the only thing that makes it that way is u lose stuff. Its identical to swg, mortal online, ulitma online, uncharted waters.
It already is that way its just that some one has to make them.
The fact that you lose your stuff and someone has to make it - you can’t buy it and pop it into existence just like that - is what makes the economy in this game unique. The idea that most of the items are created by the players, and that if you lose a ship you have to rely on the other players, is the CORE of the game.
If you really feel this is a pain, you will have a really hard time. Every time you lose a ship you will have to go and buy all your fittings again at some X system.
Your idea would destroy what makes EVE, EVE.

it is possible for you to spend $0 real money to get a Titan. you can use ISK to buy Plex, then use Plex to get omega, then train titan skills and join corp with shipyard to build and assemble titan.

I already said u would have a ■■■■ fit lol. It wouldn’t destroy the game most of you are cheap sakes to the extreme. I get called names all the time by people in this game for spending money on it. Most of you are so cheap you don’t even buy a subscription lol. There was even a post in here about it like its a badge of honor that your so extremely cheap you don’t subscribe to a game, you buy it with in game money haha.
It literally would do nothing to your make believe market of ships, all the cheap sakes would countine thier mindless grind, and maybe like 100 people would buy everything from the cash shop. All you have to do is make the stuff from the cash shop not tradeable end of story.
I can skip your little nonsensical market of pennies, where u scam people, and do what I want. While you can go try and scam some one out of a few pennies lol win win for everyone.
The only thing that’s “stupid” is your attitude, knowing full well there’s a way to actually learn about the game without spending 90 days on your own NOT DOING IT, and then trying to be smug about it.

The 90 days was not learning about the game it was about the training times to be able to actually do stuff. You could spent weeks reading about the game, but if you can’t do any of it, you are never gonna learn.
This game is equal to you go to your job, and they go well we are gonna teach you in words how to use a truck, but we aren’t gonna let you drive the truck for a year haha, just gonna tell u about how to drive it.
So if your goal is to i dono be a friegther pilot. Sitting around mining astroids hearing people talk about it only goes so far. It takes something like 90 days to get all the skills to be a freighter pilot with the best stats, sitting in hauling channel talking about it isn’t gonna help you be a better freighter pilot.
Ita rhe same with any of the ships. Sitting talking about worm holes for 100 days while ur skills train doesn’t make you a better worm hole pilot lol. Buying the worm hole stuff in 10 mins, and heading right in there sure does tho.

Most of the people literally sit here and figure out how they are gonna scam some one out of money and time, and then kill them haha ass hole, yeah this game is 90 percent of them.
As for me nope you all get butt hurt instantly as soon as I bring up I spent money to get everything. It’s like you all have this built in thing because I bought everything and it took me 10mins, I think I’m better than you, which is def not true. Its the other way around. Most of you get bent out of shape when some one buys in, and are instantly angry because I skipped everything that took u years in literally 5 mins. Maybe its jealousy I have no idea. Probably something about how most of you find it amusing to literally kill people and take all thier stuff, people that enjoy doing that to others are generally messed up.

Haha o I’m entitled cause I work and bought the stuff I wanted in the game. You guys seem to have some kind of deep rooted anger about cpp making it so people could buy what took u 10 years in 30 seconds.
While I guarantee a huge chunk of you sold eve stuff illegally. Lol hate people like me who keep the game funded, and support evil people who do rmt is that rhe game?
Atleast here they ban rmt people with a passion. I remeber ultima online I posted lists of the guys fourm transactions pictures of in-game deals I saw, his pay pal icq and everything needed, and they didn’t ban him.

This game is PACKED with whale players paying lots of accounts each, some even building character farms and selling the characters.
Guess what? The skill extractors for the skill injectors you used had to be seeded via PLEX, which means someone already paid for it. Same with the people who pay for their subscriptions with ISK. Someone had to buy the plex with RL money.
It’s not just a handful of people paying and the rest are freeloaders.
Your condescending attitude of telling everyone how you feel for them for having to grind and how you bought your character skills for RL is what makes you look like an asshole and turn people against you, not the fact that you paid money.
The fact that you call people psychopaths for following a legit play style makes you the asshole, the fact that you make the “90% of the people are this or that” is what makes you an asshole and makes people dislike you and turn against you.
No one cares that you pay for 1 character in one account, people have already been doing what you do, TENFOLD, for years now. You did not discover gunpowder.
