Are you here to watch, Foggy? Or are you going to join in?
Just watching with much amusement.
As much as I would love to claim credit for this via a grainy, subtitled video in which I sit in some mountaintop hidey-hole and prattle on for about 20 minutes, this one wasnât me, chief.
Not denying it canât be someone else, though. Donât worry, weâll get to the bottom of this, together.
Please point out where I indicted you in this heinous act. Then show me the actual proof that the world does, in fact, revolve around you, and only you.
And maybe you can show me how you set up the alarm that any time of the day or night allows you to post a reply to me within minutes of me clicking the button. If I were as self important as you, I might think you were stalking me.
You didnât.
Just wanted to mention that it wasnât me.
I am.
Have you not heard of the Court of See and Pee?
I didnât even notice you were back. Nice to see one of the old guard rejoining the game.
He left right around the time I did. Donât you find that a bit strange?
Ten whole minutes this time. On the shitter or something?
I believe you.
No, just timed on ten minute intervals.
Who cares OP.
Good riddance.
Thank you for your kind words
Nice to be back, although the (re)learning curve with all the changes to the game is as steep as ever! The forums, howeverâŚ
Nothingâs too strange when you wander into Moustachioland
His conclusion is correct though. Itâs why the game struggles to retain new players
It is not because one repeats false claims that they gain any credibility. This has been debunked over and over again, even by CCP themselves in official presentations.
So disagree much no.
1 - EvE has always been a harsh game that was niche/not for everybody. In fact it used to be harsher and more than a few longer-term players have stopped playing EvE because they felt it was no longer harsh enough.
2 - Do feel free to examine the retention rates of MMOs in general and see if you think that might factor in at all.
3 - The MMO genre as a whole is less popular today. Just is what it is I suppose. EvE Echoes for mobiles has come out quite recentlyâŚseems a bit oddâŚbut behold the future I guess?
I think not. EVE is very new-player friendly as it is. The issue is what sort of players fit the game. Those who want instant pew-pew with little risk and plenty of fireworks and gifts around at gaining a level, instant gratification hoarders and served-on-a-silver-platter dudes will not have a good time in EVE. Those who are willing to learn and understand the mechanics of the game are playing now.
EVE has been around for too long to bend its rules for every olâ whiner who finds out how to make a thread online.
eve is not noob friendly , ccp in the marketing donât make any effort to explain that , why they would eh? They announce eve to even ME on youtube all the time , hey CCP i already play , for years , you are spending to much on google , to convince ME to join the cooooolest space mmo evaaaaaaaa, ok i already play, but mr noob that donât enters a lil fresh , a bit green , on a complex AF game, on a hard AF game, on a hands-off AF game , and mr noob becomes lost , and complain , and we say good riddance , because we donât care for F morons , and them they say the retention is low, may be , but eve have 1000000000 systems and if you dare to carry a lot of loot in a t1 indie in any of them , surprise , surprise , some dude will blow you up and take your booty, so i think we are fine, there is enough players , and if one of the new players graduate , and start liking eve , and say , omg , thats a cool game, we would embrace him as one of us

Would you believe that this is actually just two sentences? My moustachio bristles at the very thought of the ideaâŚ
